Former Vice President Mike Pence called on President Donald Trump to “rescind” his agreement to lift sanctions on Russian diesel fuel and stand up to “Russian aggression,” as Pence believes he did in his first term.
“For our National Security, for the security of our Allies in Europe including Ukraine, President Trump should rescind this deal immediately and return to the strong policies of our four years in the White House; impose harsh sanctions on any nation purchasing Russian energy and work with our allies to ensure Ukraine has the military support it needs to repel and defeat this Russian invasion once and for all,” Pence said in a social media post Saturday.
Trump has been facing backlash, including from fellow Republicans, after he announced Friday that “Russia will immediately supply over 300,000 Tons of Diesel Fuel to the American and Global Marketplace, another 500,000 Tons during the month of November, and 1,000,000 Tons immediately thereafter.”
The Treasury Department confirmed it had granted Russia a temporary general license to supply diesel to the global market.
Pence said the deal “makes no sense” amid ongoing attacks on civilians in Ukraine, adding that it’s a betrayal of late Sen. Lindsey Graham’s legacy.
“Putin doesn’t want peace. Putin wants Ukraine. I have no doubt that if Putin overruns Ukraine, it will only be a matter of time until Russia’s military crosses a border that our troops will have to deal with him,” the former VP told followers on X.

Mike who???
Hmmm... I would not do anything Mike Pence had suggested. I would consider doing the opposite.
Maybe Karl Rove can help him out. /sar
Both are totally clueless to what is going on.
These morons never figure out that their recommendations would never see the light of day if they had a different opinion than a Democrat. It has been going on since Ford but they still have to flap their trap.
Is he still trying to cash in off his failed political career?
What else did ‘Mother’ tell you to say?
I call upon Mike Pence to sacrifice himself to a trash compactor.
There’s been a lot of braying about gasoline and diesel prices on FR.
I assume there was even more braying in the Washington Post and New York Times, which probably are delivered to Trump daily, along with polling results.
Trump has eyes and ears.
That’s Romney’s spin on it.
The way I see it, he’s got Pootie-Poot on his knees, begging for an indulgence. He’s offering diesel fuel as tribute.
One certainty about Europeans communists is they can’t get enough of Western currency.
The first 300,000 tons apparently left St. Petersburg September 22.
I hope that potash boat is unloaded to make room at the docks.
I like that the 300,00 tons is “insignificant” for the US, who refines more diesel than it needs.
Cannot figure out why the globalists are soooo upset
Puck Fence
These are the same dumbasses who screech:
“HE ISN’T DOING ANYTHING! HE ISN’T DOING ANYTHING! HE ISN’T DOING ANYTHING!”
Then when he does something, they pant:
“IT DOESN’T MEAN ANYTHING! IT ISN’T ENOUGH! IT ISN’T ENOUGH!”
Then, when he does more, they find something to whine about.
These mental midgets, on and off Free Republic can bite themselves.

Blathering from politicians like Mike “30 pieces” Pence and the usual press propagandists is to be dismissed.
Is this character demanding that the US enact severe sanctions on all our NATO allies, as they are mostly buying energy from Russia?
Sounds like he wants the Republicans to do poorly in the mid terms next month and return to the party out of power.
Tha will certainlky show....who? show “them” what...?
How to lose?
FUMP
Maybe some wisdom also, from Hunter Biden.
Proverbs 17:28
Even a fool, when he holdeth his peace, is counted wise: and he that shutteth his lips is esteemed a man of understanding.
Pence is agin it? I’m for it!
