Major League Baseball is eyeing its next massive showcase, trading concrete jungles and overpriced stadium beer for pine trees and the iconic peaks of Grand Teton National Park.
Specialty neutral-site games have been massive hits for MLB, but when word leaked that the league was sniffing around federal land, Washington rushed to pump the brakes.
In an official statement, the White House confirmed MLB approached President Donald Trump's administration to ask about hosting a game in a national park, "similar to the Field of Dreams game" in Iowa.

They are likely looking at the area close to Jackson Hole Airport, which is within the Grand Teton NP boundaries. There are already established ranches, businesses, and homes inside the park and within a mile of the airport.
If it doesn’t work out or it’s too expensive, sign up Sydney Sweeney to appear.

Lots of small college and municipal fields around that could benefit- hold a lottery.

They should build a minor league park in the Villages. Those people have plenty of free time to go to the game in their golf carts. Perhaps build an arena for a WNBA team so the old geezers can watch it for the jiggle factor in between fights.

National parks have strict protections; constructing even a temporary sports facility could set a precedent and conflict with rules limiting impacts on visitors, wildlife, traffic, roads/trails, wilderness areas, and commercial elements. The report notes broader context around the administration’s approach to national parks and has drawn criticism from conservation groups and some local officials, who call the concept inappropriate for protected lands known for wildlife such as grizzlies, wolves, and bison.

Plenty of infrastructure by the Jackson Hole Airport, which is within park boundaries. Jackson is only 10 miles down the highway.
Hold it at the Grand Canyon with the outfield warning track at the rim but no wall.
