The biggest surgery in the history of Obamacare is about to amputate more than $2 billion in fraud.
The White House Task Force to Eliminate Fraud, led by Vice President J.D. Vance, is cutting 760,000 individual accounts that are on the Affordable Care Act’s books, administration officials said, according to The Wall Street Journal.
Vance and Dr. Mehmet Oz, the administrator for the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, estimate canceling those accounts will save taxpayers $2.2 billion.
During the Biden administration, Obamacare enrollment increased from about 10 million people to more than 22 million.
A Department of Health and Human Services report issued this year estimated that nearly half of new Obamacare enrollments during Biden’s time in office were fraudulent.
CMS estimates that more than a million people never provided the required Social Security number when they enrolled.
CMS is also planning to check whether 415,000 people currently enrolled meet guidelines regarding immigration status and income.
The Trump administration is ending a Biden-era policy that allowed people to get a benefit without providing required information.

SSN is not required in Deloitte’s IES Integrated Eligibility System. A missing SSN has a high correlation to the DEAD and DUPLICATES in IES.
How big is the overlap between ACA and Medicaid and other programs in IES? How expensive is it to even answer that question when SSN is missing?

My dentist is from Vietnam. His father was an officer in the South Vietnamese Army who left his wife and nine children to come here and work, doing menial labor at multiple jobs, to make enough money to bring them here. It took him a few years of incredibly hard work and denying himself to earn enough, but he finally did. My dentist was 9 years old when he arrived here. They took not one penny of government assistance, bought all their clothes at rummage sales and thrift stores, lived extremely frugally. The whole family worked cleaning offices, all during their childhoods. Fortunately, they were Christians, and became a part of a local Vietnamese church. All the children were expected to make perfect grades, and all were told they were to become doctors, dentists or engineers. Every one of them received full scholarships to college based on their grades, and every one of them became a doctor, a dentist, or an engineer. None of them dated until they graduated college, because that is not the way the Vietnamese community believed it was to be done. “We had plenty of time to date after we got our education”, he told me. It was hard, they were teased because of their unstylish clothing, but they succeeded. My dentist told me his school was bombed during the war. He is very thankful for the sacrifices his parents made, and the values they were taught.

Shut it all down. All of it. Force everyone to pay for their own medical care to the extent they desire and can afford. Providers can compete for their business.
