Randy Fine did not merely win a Republican primary in Florida. He decisively turned back one of the strangest and ugliest primary challenges in recent American politics.
Randy Fine won roughly 57% of the vote in Florida's 6th Congressional District, while social-media influencer Dan Bilzerian finished below 19%.
Bilzerian had tried to make the contest a referendum on Fine's Jewish identity. His campaign descended into explicit antisemitism, including an AI-generated attack video portraying Fine through antisemitic stereotypes and material invoking Adolf Hitler. The rhetoric became so blatant that political leaders from both parties condemned it.
The voters' answer was emphatic: no.
Bilzerian's defeat is especially striking because he had built his public persona around the kind of internet celebrity that thrives on provocation—conspiracy theories, sexual bravado and deliberately inflammatory rhetoric. His campaign demonstrated the limits of turning online outrage into a governing coalition. A viral post can attract attention; it cannot necessarily translate into votes.
The broader irony is that Bilzerian has also publicly described Andrew Tate as a friend. Tate is currently fighting extradition from the United States to the United Kingdom, where prosecutors have authorized charges including rape and arranging or facilitating trafficking for sexual exploitation. In Oct 2022, Islam convert Andrew Tate: ISIS are the real Muslims because ISIS do exactly what the book says."
The facts surrounding Bilzerian's campaign were already disturbing enough. His antisemitic rhetoric did not need embellishment, nor did it need to be converted into a broader accusation about everyone associated with him. The record of his own words and campaign material was sufficient.
Bilzerian tried to make Fine's Jewishness the target. He invoked antisemitic tropes and even flirted with Hitlerian imagery. Yet the voters of District 6 rejected the campaign overwhelmingly.
The “Hebrew Hammer,” as Fine has long called himself, did not need to answer every provocation with one of his own.
He simply won.
And sometimes the easiest way to defeat political extremism is to refuse to reward it with power.

Good news
Excellent, though even getting 19% is concerning. Too many crazies in this country.
If you look at the map of the 6th Congressional District, it’s not a South Florida District that is full of NY Jews that have moved South.
Its northern boundary is St. Augustine and its Southern Boundary is Daytona Beach, to the west its primarily agricultural and rural, hardly a Jewish hotbed.
Randy Fine got into office by winning a special election when Mike Waltz resigned to join the Trump administration.
Nobody said it was the Jewish vote. Bilzerian is a wackadoo. He wouldn’t get elected in any district, except maybe Dearborn.
That’s the point, Bilzerian ran an Anti-Jew campaign in a district that isn’t Jewish and it failed miserably, especially when the incumbent bills himself as the Hebrew-Hammer.
IMO, this entire Anti-Jew campaign by the left and far too many on the right will ultimately fail in spectacular fashion.
A lot of the Jew hatred is directed toward Netanyahu, one day he will be gone, it would be foolish to cut off Israel now when he will be gone at some point.
The other thing is if Israel suddenly went away tomorrow, what then, it would be Iran on steroids, think back to when the Shah of Iran was overthrown Iran has become a problem and still is going on for 40 years.
If Israel did not exist, the Middle East would be far more radical than it is now to the point it would incredibly dangerous.
Randy Fine is widely disliked in GOP activist circles due to his often thuggish way of dealing with the local party organization.
“...Good news...”
A few rather prominent (and exceedingly LOUD) members of the Freeper Anti-Semite contingent are probably crying in their coffee this morning.
The allah akbar chorus here is very sad.
” even getting 19% is concerning.”
My thoughts exactly. Who ARE these people?!
I don’t see what all the static was about. Bilzerian only wanted to provide Jewish people free vacations via rail to rustic getaways where dedicated staff assist them in learning to mentally focus while participating in crafting seminars.
Work makes you free!
“Fine is widely disliked in GOP activist circles due to his often thuggish way of dealing with the local party organization.”
I guess that could be a good thing, or a bad thing, depending on why/how he’s thuggish. Might be better than a milquetoast go-along-to-get-along GOP, which is becoming prevalent.
Trump is thuggish, and usually it’s a good thing.

Probably 50% are uniformed. Know he’s a dude from gambling shows with stripper baby mammas and think that’s cool.
50% are Tuckernistas who hate Joooos.
The Republican Party of Florida and many of its county committees are experiencing destructive infighting. Randy Fine is part of it in order to protect his position in Brevard County.
