Deceived and Confused Priests!

More than 60 years ago, ECCLESIASTICAL MAS0NRY, with the help of many Mas0nic bishops and cardinals, entered into a great number of Catholic seminaries and universities to fundamentally change, in a very sly and hidden way, the theological and philosophical teachings of the Catholic Church. This was done in a very intelligent way, printing many books and pamphlets, including APPEALING TO THE PRIDE OF THE YOUNG STUDENTS in that they can interpret reality and truth according to themselves, instead of having the humility to seek the proper interpretation according to God found in Divine Revelation explained in the documents of the Catholic Church and in the writings of the saints for 2000 years. In most Catholic seminaries today there is no longer offered courses on logic or metaphysics which helps young seminarians to think logically so as to be able to DISTINGUISH between right and wrong, between what helps or harms souls. There is instead promoted relativism in a disguised way. For example, these poor seminarians are brainwashed to believe what was condemned by the Church more than 50 years ago, “Situation Ethics”, which is a derivative of modernism and relativism. Situation Ethics basically promotes the human subjective interpretation and solution in each situation instead of the Divine interpretation and solution in each situation which can be discovered in the teachings of the Church and in the writing of the saints. Most priests and bishops today have been formed to despise the unambiguous “old teachings” of the Church and thus no longer know the authentic teachings of the Catholic Church on faith and morals and thus normally react negatively to someone who tries to explain the most basic tenets of our faith, such as the Truth comes from the Creator, not from the creatures, and not even from the Church! The seminarians are formed to believe that the old (the immutable Truth of God) is antiquated, while the new (the mutable truth of man) is good and chic, smart, sophisticated, up-to-date. Seminarians, for more than 60 years, have been formed in the worship of man instead of the worship of God, and thus for the great majority of priests and bishops today, the truth comes from the creatures and no longer from the Creator!!! Behold the loss of unity and the fundamental source of the great confusion and the great apostasy (2Thess 2:3) today!

The following Email was sent to more than 150 priests in the diocese of Perugia, Italy, individually, in June 2026. The priests today do not realize that they have not been formed Catholic in the great majority of Catholic seminaries today.

How are you? I do not know if you remember at the monthly meeting on November 13, 2019 of the PERMANENT FORMATION OF PRIESTS we poor priests in Perugia listened to Prof. Massimo Borghesi from the diocese of Bergamo, Italy; his theme was: “Images of a Church that will Come”. Among other things, he made us realize how far the mentality of people today is from the Teachings of the Church for 2000 years.

After Zanchi finished speaking, during the comments, I said, “It comes to mind the Gospel of Mark chapter 10, the words of the apostles were “amazed” and “exceedingly astonished” by the words of Jesus which seemed too demanding. At that point, Jesus did not offer compromises with the mentality of the world. And even in the Gospel of John chapter 6, when many disciples went away due to Jesus’ teaching about the Eucharist, Jesus did not offer any compromise and was even ready to lose not only those disciples but also the apostles, “Will you leave me too?” What this means is that is seems to me that THERE IS A GREAT TEMPTATION TO LOWER THE BAR, also with ecumenism to the point of putting the first priority of gathering everyone instead of remaining faithful the Divine Revelation, the Truth of God explained according to the Catholic Church.

In a world that is further away from God and His holy laws than ever before, it seems to me that WE NEED TO HEAR PEOPLE THAT ENCOURAGE US to persevere in following Christ and his laws and to offer our parishioners the whole integral truth, not half truths. Instead Cardinal Bassetti invited Father Zanchi to encourage us to surrender to the world with compromises, which seems to me to encourage us to be hirelings instead of good pastors ready to lay our life down for the flock by taking the risk of offering the whole integral truth of God which makes us truly free (Jn 8:32)!!!

“I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep. He who is a hireling and not a shepherd, whose own the sheep are not, sees the wolf coming and leaves the sheep and flees; and the wolf snatches them and scatters them. 13 He flees because he is a hireling and cares nothing for the sheep” (Jn 10:11-13).

THE MOTIVE FOR WHICH I AM WRITING to you is that I realize that a certain number of priests in the diocese of Perugia look at me, Father Joe, as at least off the normal road, a little strange, and even heretical! If I, Father Joe, am off the normal road or even heretical, I would be very grateful to you, Father Fabrizio, if you might help me to not be a heretic and to help me to find the right way according to God so that I might not be in danger of losing eternal salvation!

Certainly we are two priests of the same faith of the Church that Jesus Christ founded, the Catholic Church, and thus I hope that we can arrive together to the Truth of God which make us truly free (Jn 8:32). Thus I hope that we have in common at least the most fundamental tenets of the Truth according to the Catholic Church, that is:

2) The Truth of the Creator never changes, while the truth of the creatures changes continuously according to the interpretations of each creature.

3) Jesus Christ founded one Church of which He promised that “the powers of death shall not prevail against it” (Mt 16:18).

4) The papacy is a gift from God, to assure us that the Teachings of the Church remain always faithful to the Truth of God and does not change with the whims and arrogance of the world!

I come from the United States where there are more than 30,000 independent Christian groups which have the same Bible, but very often interpret very important verses on faith and on morals IN VERY DIFFERENT AND CONTRADICTORY WAYS. Jesus, who is God, knew well that this would happen, and thus founded a Church in which “the powers of death shall not prevail against it” (Mt 16:18). I remember when I studied philosophy and theology at the Pontifical University of Saint Thomas Aquinas in Roma, Italy – the Angelicum, from 1983 to 1989, in the course on Ecclesiology, the professor had us read a book with the title, “The Gift of the Papacy”!

It seems to me that a great number of people in the Catholic Church today WANT TO DO AS THE PROTESTANTS, and want to interpret the questions on faith and morals according to the subjective interpretations of each individual! Father Fabrizio, am I mistaken in this perception or not??? Please tell me, I will not be offended if you tell me or respond to me differently than how I perceive things!

IF JESUS FOUNDED ONE CHURCH, the Catholic Church, and not a thousand churches, He gave us a great gift in this period of great confusion and great apostasy (2Thess 2:3) on faith and morals, so that we can securely know the Truth of God and not the truths of 8,000,000,000 creature. Jesus said: “The Truth will set you free” (Jn 8:32)! But according to you, Father Fabrizio, was Jesus referring to the Truth of the Creator of to the truth of the creatures??? Jesus clearly told us in the Sacred Scriptures that we must put into practice the words of Jesus, “THY will be done”, in order to arrive at eternal salvation! And so, dear Father Fabrizio, how can I securely know this Truth in order to be able to seek to live this Truth according to God in order to arrive to heaven???

Dear Father Fabrizio, if Jesus Christ founded a Church of which he promised that “the powers of death shall not prevail against it” (Mt 16:18), CAN I TRUST THE TEACHINGS OF THE CHURCH, found in the Documents of the Ecumenical Councils during the course of 2000 years, o must I seek the Truth from some creature, such as a founder of a new church, as if Jesus, the Creator, was not able to found a Church that would last until the end of the world, as he promised:“the powers of death shall not prevail against it” (Mt 16:18)?

A more pertinent question, CAN A POPE CHANGE THE TRUTHS which one finds in the Documents of the Ecumenical Councils during the course of 2000 years, even though we believe that the Truth of God never changes??? “Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will not pass away” (Mk 31:31). “Think not that I have come to abolish the law and the prophets; I have come not to abolish them but to fulfill them. For truly, I say to you, till heaven and earth pass away, not an iota, not a dot, will pass from the law until all is accomplished” (Mt 5:17-18; 24,35).

I believe that the Documents of the Ecumenicl Councils during the course of 2000 years are well summarized in the Catechism of the Catholic Church for adults (CCC); ed. 1992, promulgated by Pope John Paul II (http://www.vatican.va/archive/ENG0015/_INDEX.HTM). What do you say???

And so, Father Fabrizio, if I find in this catechism, which corresponds to the Documents of the Church, fundamental contradictions with what I hear in the Church today, even by very high ranking clerics in the Church, WHAT MUST I DO??? Should I continue to follow the CCC or follow the people in the Church who have the strongest voices in the mass media today??? I understood from the CCC that it has always been a grave sin, objectively, to have sex outside of marriage, marriage understood as between a man and a woman. A great number of people in the Church today are not in agreement with this teaching of the Church. Father Fabrizio, WHAT SHOULD I FOLLOW OR BELIEVE??? Which is the Truth that God the Father expects me to follow and live so as to be received into heaven after my death???

Tell me Father Fabrizio if I am mistaken, and explain to me why I am mistaken! If we are in agreement that the Truth comes from God and not from the creatures, this also means that the Truth come from God, not from the Church. The Church is the servant of the Truth, not the Author of the Truth (Jn 14:6). The Church must protect and defend the precious gift of the Truth, not modify or change the truth in a hidden sly way to please the world. Thus no priest, bishop or POPE can change the Truth of Divine Revelation given by God throughout the history of mankind, infallibly explained by the Catholic Church, and is well summarized in the Catechism of the Catholic Church for adults (CCC); ed. 1992).

Who is right, 781 out of 809 Italian bishops or the CCC? Chastity and homosexuality: CCC 2357-2359.

Since the Truth of God never changes and is well summarized in the CCC, along with the writings of the canonized saints, one only needs to look carefully IF THE CLERICS IN THE CHURCH ARE FAITHFUL TO THE TRUTH OF GOD OR TO THE TRUTH OF THE WORLD which changes continuously according to the whims and arrogance of men. We must not pay attention to nice words and embellishments in the mainstream media. Look at the real fruits of these people in the Church. Many times in various parishes here in Italy, I told the parishioners that if Father Joe begins to preach in contrast to the CCC, follow the CCC, do not follow Father Joe to hell!!!

This leads me to ask another question: Is it licit for a priest or bishop or cardinal to ask the Pope explanation about one of his encyclicals that is not in harmony with the Deposit of Faith of 2000 years??? Why was there no dialogue with the four cardinals, after the publication of Amoris Latitae, who wrote the "Dubia" (November 2016) and their repressed book "Remaining in the Truth of Christ: Marriage and Communion in the Catholic Church" (October 2014), as well as so many other cardinals, bishops, and Orthodox Catholic professors since 2013? Why has Pope Francis not responded to these four cardinals, and more recently, why has Pope Francis not engaged in dialogue with five cardinals who wrote another "Dubia" regarding the serious problem of the Synod on Synodality?!? Does the Truth come from Pope Francis or from God?!? Was Pope Francis pursuing a hidden agenda???

St. Thomas Aquinas quoting from St. Augustine, in his commentary on the right of subjects to resist flaky superiors, recalled that in St. Paul’s Letter to the Galatians, St. Paul rebuked the first pope, St. Peter, “to his face because he clearly was wrong” (Gal 2:11-14). There being an imminent danger for the Faith, prelates must be questioned, even publicly, by their subjects. Thus, St. Paul, who was a subject of St. Peter, questioned him publicly on account of an imminent danger of scandal in a matter of Faith. And, as the Glossa of St. Augustine puts it (Ad Galatas 2.14), “St. Peter himself gave the example to those who govern so that if sometimes they stray from the right way, they will not reject a correction as unworthy even if it comes from their subjects.” (Summa Theologiae, IIa IIae, Q. 33, A. 4).

If I realize and believe that the truth comes from God not from me, and I have a little virtue, especially humility, I should be willing to listen to someone who says to me that what I wrote or said or did was not in harmony with what God has revealed to us throughout human history (called Divine Revelation), while quoting documents of the Church and the writings of the saints. This is true not only regarding doctrinal and moral truths, but also regarding true sanctity which must always be accompanied with true humility so as to lead also others to true humility by our example. Without humility, there is no virtue, and we greatly risk losing any possible good fruits even though we might be in the right regarding the truth. But if I believe or feel that the truth comes from me, I will not be willing to dialogue with anyone not in agreement with me, as have done all the dictators in the history of the world, and all those who do not have true humility and who have slid into subjectivism and relativism. By throwing out humility and the precious laws of God, we quickly go toward “might makes right” as it is in hell!

ST. PAUL WAS NOT OFFERING HIS OPINION, but he was seeking the Truth of God, what God wants. Because the Truth does not come from Paul or from Peter, or from Father Joe, or from Don Fabrizio, or from Pope Francis or from Pope Leo. The Truth comes from God, rather, the Truth is God (Gv 14,6)!

Did God give us the Ten Commandments and the proper guidance of the Catholic Church FOR OUR GOOD OR FOR OUR HARM?!? Do we trust God or do we TRUST ourselves or the world?!? Where do we want to pass all of ETERNITY, with a malevolent dictator, Satan, “the father of lies” (Jn 8:44), or with God, our benevolent Creator?!? For 2000 years Catholics understood from the law of God, that it is a mortal sin, objectively, to have sex outside of matrimony!

When Pope Paul VI issued his prophetic encyclical, “HUMANAE VITAE” (1968), there was an incredible negative reaction not only on the part of the laity who wanted to enjoy the pleasures of sexual relationships without any responsibility or openness to life by using artificial birth control, but even on the part of a great number of priests and bishops, even entire Episcopal conferences (e.g., the ‘Winnipeg Statement’ of the Canadian Bishops)! BEFORE 1930 ALL MAINLINE PROTESTANT DENOMINATIONS WERE IN ACCORD WITH THE CATHOLIC CHURCH that the use of artificial birth control was a grave evil and a serious sin. Before 1930 most Christian men realized that using artificial birth control was like using ones wife as a prostitute! When the Anglican Church changed its stance in 1930 (Lambeth Conference) the other protestants churches quickly followed suit while Pope Pius XI reaffirmed the Church’s constant teaching on this grave evil in his encyclical Casti Cannubii (1930). Do we believe that we can make it to heaven without imitating Christ crucified to overcome our egoism and to learn to truly love, without being generous to life (“be fruitful and multiply”; Gen 1:28; 9:1,7; 26:24; 38:8-10; Ps 8:6-9; 127:3-5; Sir 17:2-4; Ex 1:7; Wis 9:2; 10:2; etc.)? Three years before the publication of Humanae Vitae, Saint Michael the Archangel at Garabandal, sent by Our Lady, (Spain, 1965) said: “Many Cardinals, many Bishops and many Priests are on the road to perdition and with them they are bringing many souls”! WE ARE NOW UNDERGOING THE CHASTISEMENT (Mt 24) of Divine Mercy, as the last chance of conversion (Diary of Saint Faustina, no. 1588), for our rejection and great rebellion against God’s holy and saving laws.

Blessed Cardinal Newman said he felt fortunate to be living in the time when the enemies of the Church were on the outside looking in. The day would come when there would be enemies of the Church on the inside looking out. Today we talk about theological descent in the Church. Descent is a nice word for heresy, lies, all sorts of lies!

Looking at the signs of the times, it seems to me, and to many others, that we are the generation (Mt 24:34) of the great apostasy (rebellion) before the manifestation of the Antichrist (2 Thess 2:3), when even "if possible, even the elect" (Mt 24:24) will be led into error (2 Cor 11:14),

Padre Pio, illuminated by God to know well the situation in the Church in this period of the great purification, of the “great tribulation” (Mt 24:21),, told us to HOLD ON TO THE DOCUMENTS OF THE CHURCH AND THE WRITINGS OF THE SAINTS; do not listen to anything else!

A priest goes to heaven or a priest goes to hell with a thousand people behind – St. John Vianney (1786-1859).

Dear Father Fabrizio, I would be very happy if you would respond to me! Is not our primary job, as priests, to save ourselves in order to be able to help the souls entrusted to us to save themselves??? Do you believe that my question are stupid or not important regarding eternal salvation? Take courage! If you believe that I am crazy, please tell me so, but explain to me why you think I am crazy!!! Do not speak behind my back! Speak directly to me!

When I die, dear Father Fabrizio, I do not want Jesus to be ashamed of me because I was a coward, a dumb dog unable to bark, instead of a courageous priest ready to risk telling the Truth according to the Teachings of the Catholic Church, which I profess to represent!

“EVERY ONE WHO ACKNOWLEDGES ME BEFORE MEN, the Son of man also will acknowledge before the angels of God; but he who denies me before men will be denied before the angels of God” (Lk 12:8-9).

What happens to the few priests and bishops today who do their fundamental work, to identify and cure, as spiritual doctors, the gravest sicknesses of the souls, mortal sins? THE PRIESTS TODAY WHO PREACH THE WHOLE GOSPEL and all of the teachings of the Magisterium of the Church are labeled ridged and old-fashioned, insensitive, lacking in compassion, divisive, judgmental, moralists. WHILE AT THE SAME TIME THE ONES WHO MAINTAIN A CULPABLE SILENCE, the ones who tell their people what they think they want to hear are seen as understanding, sympathetic, pastorally sensitive and merciful. “Woe to you, when all men speak well of you, for so their fathers did to the false prophets” (Lk 6:26). “For they loved the praise of men more than the praise of God” (Jn 12:43). “How can you believe, who receive glory from one another and do not seek the glory that comes from the only God?” (Jn 5:44; Gal 1:10). But this way of doing is not true mercy! THIS IS FALSE LOVE, MISGUIDED COMPASSION, false mercy, false ecumenism, that does not lead to paradise for all eternity!?!

Dear Father Fabrizio, if I, Father Joe, tell the people in the parishes what they want to hear, instead of what they need to hear to help them get to heaven, will God be happy with me??? If I act like a dumb dog and do not warn the sheep of the many hidden powerful traps for souls today, by not talking about the hard and difficult teachings in the Gospels and in the CCC, can I pretend to go to heaven automatically???

Let us contrast the words of Zanchi, which we hear so often in the Church today, with what Pope St. Gregory the Great (Office of Readings; Sunday, Week 27 of OT), and St. Augustine (Sermon of St. Augustine on the Shepherds; Office of Readings, Week 24, OT, Friday). Wrote:

“A religious leader should be careful in deciding when to remain silent and be sure to say something useful when deciding to speak. In this way he will avoid saying things that would be better not said, or leaving unsaid things that ought to be said. For, just as thoughtless remarks can lead people into error, so also ill-advised silence can leave people in their error, when they could have been shown where they were wrong. Negligent religious leaders are often afraid to speak freely and say what needs to be said – for fear of losing favor with people. As Truth himself says, they are certainly not guarding their flock with the care expected of a shepherd but are acting like hirelings, because hiding behind a wall of silence is like taking flight at the approach of the wolf. These are the people whom the Lord is reproaching through the prophet, when he says: ‘THEY ARE ALL DUMB DOGS, THEY CANNOT BARK’ (Is 56:10) … If a religious leader is afraid to say what is right, what else can his silence mean but that he has taken flight? Whereas, if he stand firm in defense of his flock, he is building up a wall for the house of Israel against its enemies. And so again the sinful people are told: ‘Your prophets have seen false and foolish visions for you; they have not exposed your iniquity in order to provoke you to repentance.’ (Lam 2:14) …” (Pope St. Gregory the Great).

“WHAT KIND OF MEN ARE THEY who, FEARING TO HURT THOSE THEY SPEAK TO, not only do not prepare them for imminent temptations, but even promise the happiness of this world, which God did not promise to the world itself? …” (Sermon of St. Augustine on the Shepherds; Office of Readings, Week 24, OT, Friday).

If I do not seek the Truth of God and do not seek to live this precious Truth ,with the help of the Sacraments and prayer, especially with the Holy Rosary, do you think I can pretend to spend all eternity in heaven where there is the eternal immutable Truth, God (Jn 14:6)???

Thus, dear Father Fabrizio, let us help each other discover the saving Truth of our loving Creator, amidst so many false truths invented by the “father of lies”, Satan (Jn 8:44) in this period of the great apostasy (2Thess 2:3), and then to live this gift of the Truth without compromise, so that we might be accepted into eternal life with our Creator who loves each of us immensely!!!

I understand what you are saying. Certainly one can find in the documents of the Roman Catholic Church a description of the exact situation and procedures.
But, let me be very blunt!
We are truly in the great apostasy before the manifestation of the Antichrist (2Thess 2:3). The greatest punishment that God sends us now is to have suspended the guidance of the true hierarchy of the Church since 2013. This punishment is a consequence of the fact that very few Catholics were willing the receive as a gift from God the guidance of the Church to get to heaven. A very strong example of this is seen in the great rebellion against Humanae Vitae.

All my sources tell me that most likely we will be under total dictatorship beginning this year. The last 3 and a half years of this period will be worse than we can imagine since we will loose the protection of the Eucharist in all the public churches of the world for 3 and a half years.

3 and a half years of Abomination of Desolation! - Before “the man of lawlessness is revealed, the son of perdition (the Antichrist) … only he who now restrains it will do so until he is out of the way. And then the lawless one will be revealed…” (2Thess 2:3-8). Above all what is “RESTRAINING” the “man of lawlessness” is the presence of Jesus Christ as the Truth (Jn 14:6) and especially His real presence in the Most Holy Eucharist of the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass; Satan seeks to trivialize both so as to deprive us of God’s guidance and His powerful protection and help. Before the manifestation of the Antichrist, “the continual burnt offering” (Dan 8:11; 12:11), will be taken away, and the “sacrifice and offering” will cease (Dan 9:27), which Jesus foretold (Mt 24:15). This sacrilege is the ultimate “ABOMINATION OF DESOLATION” (Mt 24:15; Mk 13:14; 2Thess 2:3-4; Dan 9:27; 11:31)! For the last three and a half years of this period of the “great tribulation” (Mt 24:21) “the continual burnt offering” (Dan 8:11; 12:11), that is the VALID Holy Mass, THE EUCHARIST, will be TAKEN AWAY, in all the public churches in the world (Dan 12:11; Rev 13:5) (“The Abomination of Desolation”)! I believe that the VALID, Holy Mass, THE EUCHARIST, will be TAKEN AWAY, in a sly and disguised way, in all the public churches in the world in less than two years. After this greatest tribulation in the history of the world, past and future (Mt 24:21), finally all the Catholics, Protestants and non Christians will realize the greatness of the Most Holy Eucharist, and will have great faith, adoration, humility, reverence and love for Jesus truly present in the Eucharist. It would be much better to discover this great Truth about the Eucharist before this period of great tribulation! The only verse in the whole Bible with the number of the Beast, the Antichrist, 666 (Rev 13:18), is when many disciples refused Christ’s teachings on the Eucharist and went away (Jn 6:66)!!! By accepting the Protestant doctrine, people will hold that the Mass is not a sacrifice but only a sacred meal, that is to say, a remembrance of that which Jesus did at his Last Supper. And thus, the celebration of Holy Mass will be suppressed. In this abolition of the daily Sacrifice consists the horrible sacrilege (Abomination of Desolation) accomplished by the Antichrist, which will last about three and a half years, namely, one thousand two hundred and ninety days”. “The apostles said to the Lord, “Increase our faith”!” (Lk 17:5). Let us pray for a greater faith in our Eucharistic Lord!

If any priest, bishop or pope goes against the immutable truths found in the documents of the Church, well summarized in the Catechism of the Catholic Church for adults (CCC; ed. 1992, promulgated by Pope John Paul II; http://www.vatican.va/archive/ENG0015/_INDEX.HTM), follow the CCC, do not follow any heretical priest, bishop or pope to hell!!!

Very often Our Lady talks about the great responsibility of priest, and their fall in this period of time. One example:

b It is especially because of them that the chastisement of Communism will soon come and will deprive everyone of all they possess. Times of great tribulation will unfold.

Almost twenty Cardinals and more than 150 Bishops, more than 50,000 priests and religious, have followed the Marian Movement of Priests (MMP), receiving by way of the book which contains the messages, precious teaching from the Mother of God, in this devastating attack of the ecclesiastical Masonry on the sound doctrine of the Church and the Sacraments, especially the Most Holy Eucharist.

Many bishops have given their Imprimatur to this book. You will find in these messages of Our Lady revealed through Don Stefano Gobbi a resemblance to the writings of Saint Louis de Montfort, Saint Therese of the Child Jesus and to the messages of Our Lady of Fatima, with the sweetness that only the Mother of God, and the Mother of each of us, could communicate to those open to the caresses of Our Lady!

I would highly recommend that you read slowly one meditation from this Blue Book each day so as to let Our Heavenly Mother form and prepare you for this period of the purification of the Church and of the World.

One can very easily say these words but live according to his own standards, not the standards of Christ. Just about everyone today says: “I am OK and ready to die.” But the problem is they do not realize, and do not want to realize, that they are OK according to themselves but not according to God!”

If we could love according to Christ’s standards and according to God, Christ would not have had to die on the Cross for us. Anyone who believes they are not still living sinful lives, at least to some degree, is fooling themselves.

Remember the sermon on the mount and grasp a few key concepts about part of it:

The Shift from Self-Sufficiency to Grace
This concept stands in direct contrast to being “proud in spirit” or self-righteous.

The Proud in Spirit: Believe they are doing pretty well on their own merit (”Look at my best efforts!”).

The Poor in Spirit: Realize that even their best efforts fall short. They realize that they are sinners who are entirely dependent on the unmerited favor, mercy, and grace of God.

The Paradox of the Beatitude
The beautiful paradox of this first Beatitude is that acknowledging your spiritual poverty is actually the key that opens the door to the kingdom of heaven. You can’t be filled with God’s grace until you admit you are empty without it. It turns a confession of weakness into a position of ultimate blessing.

Forgive me if I respond in a similar way as I responded to “HKMk23”. Because the main issue here is where can I find the Truth of God and not the truth of man. Most people today think they are infallible sources of truth, even though there are fundamental contradictions among these people. Did God give the authority and the charisma of infallibly interpreting all of Divine Revelation to every human being?

What I wrote to HKMk23:
If you have studied even a little the history of Christianity in the last 2000 years, you know well how many people said the same words as you have said about being guided by the Holy Spirit but were mistaken in very fundamental principles of Christianity, shown in later years in history.

You never answered my point that there are thousands of independent Christian groups with the same Bible, but very often interpret very important passages in contradictory ways.

If you still want to hold on to what you said that each and every Christian is an infallible Pope, then which self proclaimed Pope am I to believe? If I do not seek and find the Truth of God that does not change with the world, can I really presume to enter heaven where there is the Immutable Truth, God???

When you talk about this infallible guidance of the Holy Spirit, does this apply to all verses of the Bible or only the less important verses??? Does this guidance apply to all Christians or only to those who think they are infallible?
