Democrat congressmen made a series of wild statements during a visit to an immigration detention facility in New Jersey where radical leftists have been protesting and rioting for days.
Rep. Jerry Nadler (D-NY) and Rep. Dan Goldman (D-NY) turned up at Delaney Hall in Newark on Wednesday to demand entry and speak to aliens being held inside the facility by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).
Following a tour, the congressmen held a brief press conference, during which Goldman claimed that the Trump administration is trying to “force” illegal aliens to accept voluntary departure by subjecting them to an extremely hostile environment.
“They are making the conditions so unbearable that they would rather go home to their own countries, many of which they escaped because of terrible conditions, and what they’re realizing is that the conditions of the United States of America are worse than the conditions of countries with dictators and fascist leaders,” Goldman said.

I am somewhat inclined to believe that. I’m not sure they have a better life here than there. The US is not a land for unskilled labor. They come here, and because of their lack of skills and language are a permanent underclass. It isn’t racism that keeps them down; it is a lack of skills and their inability to fit into a high-tech society. That’s one reason I want them to go back.
As a former long-term expatriate, I am well acquainted with the struggle and loneliness of living outside your culture. They’d be better off going back.

If it was so much better in the countries they fled, then there’s an obvious solution, one even ignoramus Goldman could figure out.
Being locked up, at any level, whether State or Federal, exposes people to an extremely hostile environment. The danger is usually from other CRIMINALS usually more violent than they are.
This is the point...don't do things that get you incarcerated, like entering a country illegally, and you'll never experience such conditions.
