I actually read the article. Big Serge is clueless about Trump’s foreign policy and why we are taking Venezuela, Iran and Cuba all out in a particular order. Israel is a partner and ally. They’re not running the show.
Its not just Iran. There’s a total global realignment going on. Trump is putting China in a box. This is all about the future. What sucks up energy like a whirlwind? AI does. Trump is going to make sure the US wins the AI race. China has to be contained. Limiting their access to energy is key.
Everything is going to change rapidly in the next three years. After the Ukraine war gets resolved I fully expect Trump to normalize relations with Russia and bring them into the fold. Putin desperately wants this. Better the US and Russia against a weakened China.
I think Trump is just going to let Europe fail. Why not? The EU is not our ally, they are our competitors. Once the EU is gone Europe can maybe expel enough Muslims to build back.
If you are America first then realize that everything Donald Trump is doing is to achieve that. Don’t get caught up in the weeds by these know nothing pundits who have no world view.
