[Anti-Netanyahu] Ehud Barak: A Trail of Scandals, Ethical Lapses, and National Security Risks

Ehud Barak, once hailed as Israel’s most decorated soldier and a brief prime minister from 1999 to 2001, has long positioned himself as a statesman of unyielding integrity—a liberal Zionist warrior against extremism. Yet, beneath this veneer lies a pattern of controversies that reveal a man whose ambitions often trumped ethical boundaries, national security, and accountability.

From reckless peace overtures that nearly handed sacred sites to Palestinian control, to deep entanglements with the convicted sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein—and even facilitating Epstein’s disturbing chumminess with notorious anti-Zionist and anti-Israel figures like Noam Chomsky—Barak’s legacy is one of self-serving opportunism.

The 2000 Peace Fiasco: Betting Israel’s Heart on Arafat’s Empty Promises

Barak’s most infamous blunder came during the 2000 Camp David and Taba negotiations, where he dangled unprecedented concessions to Yasser Arafat—up to 97% of the West Bank, all of Gaza, and even shared sovereignty over East Jerusalem’s Old City and the Temple Mount. Declassified Israeli State Archives documents from June 2023 paint a damning picture: As a lame-duck leader, Barak was ready to relinquish Israeli control over Judaism’s holiest sites in a desperate bid for a deal.

This wasn’t bold statesmanship; it was naive capitulation. Arafat pocketed the offers, rejected them outright, and unleashed the Second Intifada—a bloodbath that killed over 1,000 Israelis. The fallout empowered Hamas and left Israel more vulnerable than ever.

Epstein Entanglements: Business Deals, Political Plots, and Anti-Israel Connections

Barak’s post-2013 “private sector” career is dominated by his alleged relationship with Jeffrey Epstein. Documented include:

Crucially, there is no evidence whatsoever of Mossad involvement in any of these dealings—no operational link, no intelligence tasking, no agency fingerprints. The scandal is entirely personal and political.

Noam Chomsky: The Anti-Zionist Intellectual in Epstein’s Circle

Barak facilitated Epstein’s warm relationship with Noam Chomsky, one of the world’s most prominent anti-Zionist voices, who:

2025-released Epstein files show Chomsky praising Epstein as a “highly valued friend,” exchanging affectionate emails years after Epstein’s 2008 conviction, and even discussing Israeli-Palestinian issues at a 2015 dinner arranged via Barak and Epstein.

Why Barak’s Shadow Still Looms in 2025

As Israel fights multi-front wars, Barak continues to brand Netanyahu a “threat to democracy”—a charge that rings hollow from a man whose closest post-political confidant was a convicted sex offender who bankrolled anti-Netanyahu schemes and cultivated one of Israel’s most vicious ideological critics.

Israel deserves leaders whose private networks strengthen the state—not ones that empower its most determined detractors.

Notes & Key Clarifications (November 2025)

  1. No Evidence of Mossad Involvement
No document, leak, or testimony through 2025 has ever shown any Mossad link to Epstein regarding Barak. Claims of an official Israeli “honey-trap” remain completely unsubstantiated.

  2. What Is Documented
    • 30+ post-2013 Barak–Epstein meetings
    • Epstein’s investment in Carbyne
    • Epstein explicitly boasting he was helping Barak topple Netanyahu
    • Barak directly connecting Epstein with Noam Chomsky

  3. Chomsky’s Current Stance on Israel
Calls Israel “apartheid,” supports BDS, and seeks the end of the Jewish state as a national entity.

  4. Chomsky–Epstein Relationship
Warm post-conviction emails, a 2015 dinner on Israeli policy arranged via Barak/Epstein, and Chomsky describing Epstein as a “highly valued friend.”

  5. Bottom Line
This is not a Mossad conspiracy. It is a documented case of a former Israeli prime minister maintaining an extraordinarily close relationship with a convicted sex offender who was simultaneously funding anti-Netanyahu political activity and cultivating one of the world’s leading anti-Zionist intellectuals.

Jeffrey Epstein is all over this friendly to Mr. Barak former Israeli PM. Epstein Estate email has Epstein writing a speech for Barak.

Virginia Giuffre in her posthumous memoir refers in some versions to a ‘well known former Prime Minister’ being involved in brutal sexual activity with her.

No, that’s made up garbage. He is anti-israeli and really he’s anti-Jewish. Does he care about Rohingya Ughurs or anything? No. Does he actually even care about the Palestinians? No just an excuse to beat up on Jews. If every Jew in Israel move to Uganda tomorrow he wouldn’t care if the Jordanian sliced and diced every Palestinian there was.

Ehud Barak is a Clinton stooge. James Carville went to Israel in 1999 to get him elected, leading to the the “deal” and Intifada
