I don’t think he can. As long as islam is recognized as a religion it pretty much puts them into a protected status even though they are more like a sect than an organized religion. And I can promise you that a lot, if not all, of the muslim mosques in the US are funneling money into terrorist organizations globally without using the name. Such organizations can include government and on line funding, the exploiting of charities, criminal activities and illicit financial networks like hawala. And these are many of those that work outside the normal networks but parallel to the system and is used for money laundering and financing.

gw made these idiots above reproach and a generation later we're contending with the actual islamization of America, including both codifying the silencing of Church bells and authorizing mooslim calls to prayer over loudspeakers in some locales. zero facilitated the invasion while hypocritically taking out terror extremists via drones and now Texas is combatting sharia law in its suburbs independent of the feds. Note: Egyptians are not Arabs, although most speak Arabic. Egyptians are an ancient people, much older than Islam.

There will be a day when every group, legit or not, will do anything they can to use the first amendment like this. Another example is satanism. As long as they don’t cross over into current law violations like the obvious, murder, rape, bank robbery, the normal ones, they are within their rights to send their money anywhere they want as a religion. And as long as they funnel to organizations like those that funnel overseas they are within their rights. But even calling the MBH a terrorist organization while they are founding and funding many of the mosques in the US is cockeyed but somehow legal. Or overlooked.

Sadat let some of them out of prison because the leftists were threatening his power; he thought that the two factions would weaken each other at little risk, and boy was he wrong about that. The MB had supposedly tried to assassinate Nasser in the 1950s.
You are correct. Looking back, I think my response was poorly composed. That’s my bad. To try to clarify what I meant, I was trying to say that the First does not protect any religion’s illegal activities. Anyone can worship as they please but they can’t terrorize their neighbors and use their religion as an excuse.
