Shortly before New York’s new mayor, Zohran Mamdani, delivered his rousing victory speech to a packed hall in Brooklyn on Tuesday night, one person was singled out for praise: Elle Bisgaard-Church, his 34-year-old chief adviser…
It was a fleeting moment in the spotlight for Bisgaard-Church…She rarely speaks in public or gives interviews and, unusually for a New York politico, does not post on X. Yet she has masterminded one of the most improbable, closely-watched and successful campaigns in recent political history, propelling an obscure socialist candidate to the highest office of the most important city in the US.
Patrick Gaspard, a former Obama aide and an informal adviser to Mamdani, describes Bisgaard-Church as the campaign’s “boiler room”. “She’s easily the most influential voice, partner, strategist in the camp, and there's no close second,” he said.
Like her boss, Bisgaard-Church is something of an outsider. The only daughter of a single mother, she grew up in California. After graduating from Swarthmore…she worked for a series of charities and went to New York on a public affairs fellowship run by Coro… She completed a master’s run by Columbia University and the London School of Economics, focusing on taxation.
Bisgaard-Church had little policy experience when she became Mamdani’s chief of staff at New York City Hall in 2020. But she quickly proved to be a skilled political operator with a knack for coalition building. She was among the leading voices that successfully called for higher taxes on wealthy residents during the pandemic and played a key role in Mamdani’s efforts to secure relief for New York taxi drivers weighed down by crushing debts.
Bisgaard-Church is now expected to play a pivotal role in an administration overseeing a city with a budget of $116bn and a population of 8.5 million.

Smart, pretty, and lethal.
Bisgaard-Church had little policy experience when she became Mamdani’s chief of staff at New York City Hall in 2020.
Seems kind of like Obama. Child of a single mother, miraculously having all the doors opened for her, top-level education at all the best places in the world, and then a plum position despite having no real experience for it.
Who is really pulling the strings for this person? She is manufactured.
“Sources describe her as a “diehard believer” on the left with a “lifelong preoccupation with wealth inequality, the carceral system and the injustices of war.”[2] Bisgaard-Church has stated she feels “deeply ashamed” of homelessness, calling it a “political choice” and a “moral failure,” and said she found a “shared sense of rage” about it within the NYC-DSA.[2] “
Mamdani’s Valerie Jarrett.
You guys are figuring it out. Someone, or some entity is putting these people in place. Fighting them is only fighting the symptomms. You have to find the origin/disease and knock that out. I told all of you when AOC came on the scene not to underestimate her. Go research my posts and find it.
It is beginning to look like the origin is either a wealthy muslim or a muslim organization. Soros probably has a part. Where did Rashida Tlaib and Omar Ilhan come from so suddenly? Both are unrepentant aggressors. VERY muslim.
Answer to Bisgaard-Church who probably reads here to determine the lack of will to take adequate action to neutralize this (she hasn’t met me yet): Homelessness is NOT our problem, girl. Peoples’ CHOICES to do drugs and/or become alcoholics are THEIR choices. You get that in your head right now.
Like John Lindsay, 50 years ago, Mamdani seems to be passing up the traditional large NYC ethnic groups when he makes his appointments in favor of outsiders and transients.

I disagree.
Mamdani (50.4%) barely beat a very unpopular former New York Governor (41.6%) and a Law and Order Republican (7.1%).
The incumbent Democratic Mayor was not well liked and refused to resign after several federal indictments.
Mamdani won because he is an attractive and articulate candidate in one of the most Hard Left cities in the USA.
The US Census Bureau is concealing their 2022 and 2024 survey data, so I do not have the most recent ethnic or birth country data for New York City.
Regardless, we know that white USA born NYC voters are below 50%.
All of NYC's other ethnic or foreign born groups vote Hard Left, in every election.
Elle Bisgaard-Church is clearly smart and hard working, but she was blessed with a near perfect candidate.
Will she be wearing a Burka when she is having a press conference? Asking for a friend...😀
