One upside of the Schumer Shutdown is that it has refocused attention on the FAILED Obamacare which was the reason why the Democrats shut down the government. They shut it down because the grotesquely misnamed AFFORDABLE Care Act is most definitely NOT affordable as Scott Jennings has pointed out and they wanted more government subsidies for it including for illegal aliens. In fact, Obamacare was NOT designed to be affordable in the first place. It was just an insurance industry enrichment SCAM designed to get it passed by Congress. And do you know who else agrees with Scott Jennings that it is a scam? The person who DESIGNED Obamacare, MIT economist Jonathan Gruber who as you can see ADMITS his SCAM and that he designed it to pass Congress, NOT to save people money on their health insurance.

It was written by lawyers from United Heathcare to benefit SEIU.
She had no idea what was in the bill.
It was designed to completely break the healthcare system, to make socialist medicine the only viable option.

Here we must give the Democrats some credit. They are really good at coming up with good names for terrible ideas.
And it’s nothing new. LBJ’s “Great Society” destroyed the black family unit, and put whole generations of people on permanent welfare.

Simple. Vote to end it completely by Dec 31, 2026. That’s 14 months to come up with new plan. Trump’s new plan should be voted on just before the mid-terms. Vote no and there’s no insurance for anyone. 10 months is plenty of time to come up with something market based. Then watch all the interests squeal like pigs away from the troff.

In an interview some years ago, he was asked how he thought he could get this mess past the electorate. He said “we relied on the stupidity of the American public.”
Obama promised: 1) you could keep your same doctor, 2) insurance prices would be cut almost in half, and 3) the quality and availability of medical care would be increased. How many of those promises has Obamacare fulfilled? Hint: Zero. Time to kill the ACA.

Gotta put part of the blame on the mainstream media for that. They simply will not report anything negative about the Democrats.
So there’s a decent amount of Americans who never heard Pelosi’s quote, even once.
They wanted it to fail because they wanted Medicaide for all. If you wanted something demand the same HEALTHCARE the senators have.
Obamacare:
excessive subsidies, mainly to the Democrats
free rein to the medical-industrial complex
right way:
rational subsidies, for all needy citizens (and rationally lawfully present persons)
market force restraints on the medical-industrial complex
With the right way, hospital payroll expenses should shrink roughly 60% and drug company profits about the same.
Don’t worry about share prices, almost all shareholders will still make out swell.
