Trump basically told Schumer to go to hell last night, after Schumer tried to extort money from Trump before removing Democratic Party blocking/delaying tactics of Trump nominees.
Among the demands Schumer made were money for Gaza and NIH money for blue states with sanctuary cities etc.
Worth noting that Trump has had 131 nominees confirmed already compared to 55 confirmed at this stage in the first Trump presidency, despite all the drama from the Democrats.

Schumer obstructing and pimping to get $ for his own state is, for better and worse, common procedure in WashedUpDC.
Schumer obstructing and pimping to get $ for a terrorist murder gang is NOT common procedure. It is inexcuseable.
Schumer has been such an obstruction and destructive force against America, our defenses, and our values.... we are hoping, praying that is retired ASAP!
Hopefully President Trump is going to use this recess for recess appointments.
You’re joking, right? They aren’t going into recess. The senate will be called in session every three days to prevent Trump from making appointments. I have read elsewhere, Republicans want leverage to exchange appointments for endorsements and such.
The Senate isn’t in recess.
Sen. Thune is holding some ceremonial procedures every few days that are technically keeping the Senate in session.
Schumer the greatest retched stench in his party and they wonder why it’s on their death bed.
The sooner the better for America.
It’s more simple than Chucky.
If the Pubbies wanted, they’d have a leader who’d go into recess for Trump to get all his nominees in through 2026.
Right. And getting upset about the Dems not cooperating is kind of silly with it is the Pubby Senators stopping Trump.
gaslights the several hundred nominees that are waiting to be approved... basically people who's lives are at a stand still because thune is a mcconnell wanna be

Comment: a sad thought, often
Of course - the Republicans are both responsible for the actions they take, but also the actions the Democrats take as well. < / s >
The Senate cannot formally recess without a vote of the Senate - the Republicans alone do not decide this. The Democrats can attach amendments to a motion to recess which would require 60 votes to end them. Republicans do not have 60 votes. Republicans used this tactic against Biden and Obama same as Democrats are using it against Trump now.
The Democrats are engaging in obstruction that is unprecedented including raising objections to mundane appointments that are normally approved by acclimation - unanimous consent and voice votes for immediate confirmation. Now they are requiring the full debate and voting process on each nominee. That takes up an extraordinary amount of time and is entirely at the feet of the Democrats - yet here you are yet again with your false narrative in the face of this reality: "getting upset about the Dems not cooperating is kind of silly with it is the Pubby Senators stopping Trump." So you are not upset with what the Democrats are doing - in fact completely dismissive of given them any culpability and want people to revolt against Republicans and only Republicans - even in cases where is 100% the Democrats fault. Do you have any shame at all?
I don't trust that they'll change the rules. Rhe rules should have already been changed and they haven't done that.
Does this notion hold true when the government we get may be there through vote fraud?
They must laugh at the retarded republicans....putin and dems...how slow to grasp reality can you be?
Playas no.
Played-rs yes.
Like other nominees in other years? And its apparently 150 nominees not " several hundreds".
“basically people who's lives are at a stand still because thune is a mcconnell wanna be “”
Not necessarily.
Life continues as usual until they are confirmed.
Nothing new here.
