It’s unlikely UN ‘peacekeepers’ would be sufficient to start a war, so Zelensky is holding out for NATO membership and boots to provoke Putin and cancel peace talks. ANYTHING to get the war going, most importantly, anything to get Americans in with boots on the ground. WWIII or bust, according to Z.
Zelensky understands that Russia has permanent VETO POWER in the U.N.
Of course he’d instead want the EU globalists to provide troops while continuing to pour monetary wealth in his direction.

Why would he want UN “peacekeepers”? The blue-helmets always split and head for the tall grass whenever real soldiers or guerrilla fighters show up.
It’s pretty obvious he does not want peace like his Europeon leaders.
The hold up to peace in Ukraine is this corrupt little troll. He doesn’t give a fig for his people or country. He cares about the grift only. Putin is a thug, but his corruption pales compared to this little twerp.
He will just keep coming up with excuses to not stop the war and to delay elections
What Zelinsky wants is NATO troops in Crimea and all over the Donbas + places like Kursk or wherever he chooses so they can obey his commands on missile attacks on Moscow & other places in Russia + more territory in Russia.
Put in wants to have Russian soldiers occupy Kyiv & ensure they have a government there that obeys Putin + Russian soldiers all over the regions they have occupied + buffer zone. And he wants Ukraine fully demilitarised with their current armed forces put in detention to get re educated. And he wants NATO to dismiss all nations that have joined since 1989.
Both sides want fair compensation from the other side for deaths/destruction.
I don’t think they are close to an agreement.
I commented to that effect the other day.
There will be no ceasefire; he will see to it until he can’t.
