I used to watch air cav infantry doing this from Slicks (UH-1 Huey) in the early 70’s. I believe they called in repelling. It’s nothing new.
But Israel didn’t have a complete nitwit like Carter holding them back, withholding funding for defense and Jimah was on the side of our enemies and terrorists the world over. Something was very wrong with Carter, the whole big old US couldn’t pull off a raid like this.
