I love you you try to equate being critical of the H1B visa and other colonization visas with attacking Trump. As far as I know Trump only made campaign promises to greatly reduce immigration. In June of 2020 President Trump unilaterally quit issuing all kinds of work visas, H1B included.

I will say that if Trump doesn't do the same thing again in 2025 when he has the power to do so then he is breaking his biggest campaign promise.

And no, I will not let you shout me down either.

If it were only the H-1B holders... Where I live I see their wives, kids, and parents, too. How did they get over if the H-1B is just for the job holder? H-1B is the camel’s nose, IMHO.

Economists have wondered for 3 decades why US productivity has grown so slowly: labor is too cheap. Why make any expensive and risky capital or business process improvements when you can just add and fire bodies?

Most American management is a sophisticated form of fraud: they're accountants who know nothing about manufacturing a product or providing customer service. If a material is too expensive, use a cheaper alternative even if it cuts quality. Outsource, use H1B's, do anything except acquire good engineers and know how to manage them properly. That's the most laughable part about H1B: by making engineers cheaper, they hire more of them and get reduced productivity.

What they get is a temporary blip in profits from which they can enrich themselves with bonuses and stock options. When they have destroyed a company's reputation and outsourced tech to foreign competitors, they move on to loot another company.
