District Judge Kevin Mullins, who was gunned down in his own chambers by former Sheriff Shawn “Mickey” Stines, is now at the center of shocking allegations that his courthouse was operated like a “brothel.”
The revelation comes from police recordings obtained by NewsNation’s Banfield, exposing a web of abuse of power, sexual exploitation, and a justice system gone rogue.
Audio recordings from the investigation into former Deputy Ben Fields, who was convicted of rape, sodomy, and perjury, have revealed chilling details of a sex-for-favors scheme that allegedly involved Judge Mullins.
The Gateway Pundit previously reported that Sheriff Stines was deposed in a federal lawsuit for failing to investigate claims that Ben Fields, a deputy who worked as a jailer at the courthouse, sexually assaulted two female inmates inside of the judge’s chambers.
Sabrina Adkins, a victim of Fields and a plaintiff in a federal civil rights lawsuit, told investigators that Mullins and other “higher-ups” were involved in coercing women—often inmates—into sexual acts in exchange for legal leniency, including reduced sentences and avoiding ankle monitor fees.
Adkins recounted seeing explicit videos allegedly filmed in Mullins’ chambers. These videos reportedly show Mullins engaging in sexual acts with female inmates, solidifying claims that the courthouse was rife with corruption.

It is odd that the judge has the sheriff’s daughter on speed dial. But there also could be an innocent reason for that.
Unless the woman is grown and in some professional capacity, there is no good reason to be on a speed dial for man not related to her.

It does make the most sense that for it to happen. Nothing drives a man to kill more than somebody hurting his daughters.
Seems like a bit of a jump to being a judge in Kentucky. ???
And, the call to the daughter right at the time of the shooting. Was it before? Was he confirming what he did and giving her instruction on what not to say? I don’t think you shoot someone on tape and call your daughter with the victim’s phone.Just doesn’t feel right unless she is in the mix somehow. And, the obvious guess is that it involves sex.
Sex is a powerful Drug....
Avenging daughter abuse is even more powerful.
Sodomy is a crime there? Sounds like selective prosecution.
Rumor around here was the Sheriff’s underage daughter had sex with the POS judge...
I bet the Judge was a Democrat ! They always have to pay women or coerce them to get sex. Just look at the Democrats in the House and the Senate.
From what I read in the story it sounds like a justifiable shooting !
The Sheriff should be set Free and Given a Vigalante Justice Gold Medal.
The Judges phone, computers, and videos should be thoroughly checked for more evidence. I wonder what ages all of his victims were ?

It remains unclear what Stines saw on the judge’s phone that triggered the fatal shooting.

So Sabrina Adkins, an inmate, CLAIMS she saw something on a video....
He may not have seen anything, and may have been psycho. Shooting a judge is pretty psycho. Ranting about a kidnapping that didn’t occur ...
Another report:
“[Stines] had attempted multiple times to contact his daughter throughout the day, and including the time while he was in chambers, and he tried to contact her from the judge’s phone,” Bartley said.
Some had speculated that the phone exchange indicated some kind of relationship between the judge and Stines’ daughter, which Bartley said is untrue.
Stines had been experiencing paranoia that his family was in danger prior to the shooting, which was caused by a civil lawsuit where he was named and deposed.
“Specifically, in the approximate two-week period prior to the incident in the judge’s chambers, pretty much all the witnesses the investigators talked to support what those close to Mickey had said as well,” Bartley said. “And that’s simply this: Mickey had become extremely paranoid. He’d become sleepless, basically wasn’t sleeping. [He] slept little, if at all. He had sort of become withdrawn. And you know, it was of such a concern that his co-workers urged him to go to the doctor, and he ultimately did the day prior to the shooting.”....
