Update: Is ‘vote flipping’ an e-voting problem or user error?

Hubby was smart enough to review his before hitting the big enter button in a state and local election. His votes had been flipped so had to go back through to fix them. He tried to tell the poll workers but they wouldn’t do anything. He got home and called the RNC who said they’d check it but weren’t too concerned. It took them two weeks to get back with him to say his votes were counted as he’d intended. We were never convinced. How many others had their votes flipped but didn’t review before entering them? Why wasn’t the machine taken out?
It wasn’t long after that the warehouse storing 10,000 machines burned in Houston. That’s a head scratcher, huh.
