I buy tons of 7.62x39 from them, wasn’t aware of the military buck loads. Gonna have to check that out. Many thanks
From my shooting experience using a XII semi auto shotgun, the max effective range I can get is 50 yards (150 feet). At this distance 7 of the military pellets will hit my target whereas standard Winchester 00 Buck there is only 2 hits out of 9. At 200 feet the military stuff scatters too much and penetration into the wooden target is not that great.
At 50 feet just about any 00 Buck will give a 9 pellet hit at a human shaped target. The weapon is sited in at 50 feet with a red dot.
So yes, give it a try. With a 20 round drum you can get 180 projectiles flying in less than a minute. A good suppressor will keep the muzzle held down.
