He plead guilty, which means he admitted to breaking the law. There is nothing to appeal.
Who are THEY? The owners?
Looks like even on FR people still trust the system...I read a comment the other day that said, in essence, those who inhabit America are no more like the founders than Italians are from the Romans. Agreed.
More like a downhill slide. The authoritarians smell blood in the water and are determined to finish the job by any means necessary. Of course, conservatives (including Freepers) have been warning about this for a long time - sadly, we were correct.
More like we’ve fallen off a cliff.
Seriously?!?!?!?!
After watching the unjust detainment of other Jan 6 Capitol visitors and the sham trial against Trump?
No votes were taken. No justices intervened to object to his guilty plea.
Take the knot out of your panties, gang. Only a couple of the justices are perfect, but 3 others are generally common sensical. 1 squishy R and 3 wackjobs, so I generally trust this current SC.
F this Government! The long train of abuses continue.....
The SCOTUS worm has turned...
It is reasonable to expect something bad to happen to the only Americans left on the court, Alito & Thomas...
This case eliminates the First Amendment and the court has been raping the vestiges of the Second Amendment lately...
He was previously convicted of interrupting Congress hearing and was not allowed in the future to utter anything disruptive, loud anywhere on capital grounds. This the reason for his charge and SC upholding it.
Really? You trust these SOBs.
Those you reference are indefensible.....this case is nothing like that....a guilty plea being one key reason. 60 days. vs. 60 months before hearings/trials. Agree to that.
Could it be that they are thinking all the J6 cases will be addressed by the case that they’ve already taken, regarding whether the law against destroying records can be applied to J6-ers?
The trouble is that the feds have a nasty habit of promising to indict every ham sandwich in your family UNLESS you plead guilty whether you are or not.
It’s what they did to Michael Flynn. It’s what they did to Michael Cohen.
As long as we have utterly lawless “law enforcement” a guilty plea means nothing.

I'd suggest hold fire and indignation until we have a good case. This isn't a hill upon which to die.
He was there as a reporter and said something they didn’t like. Literally…

“after pleading guilty”
Well that kind of was a mistake. Appealing after pleading guilty is tough from what I’ve read.
“No justices intervened to object to his guilty plea.”
That would put them ALL on the side of the Deep State.
SCOTUS are generally very lazy.
A very short annual schedule. They need to at least double their workload.
Maybe Trump can arrange to expand the Court so they can get to work?
