The 45th infantry used to use a swastika for their symbol.
It seems odd to be concerned about how someone draws the swastika. Makes one sound like a purist when it comes to nazi symbolism.
Not far from where I live in rural Oklahoma, there is a brick gate entrance to an old cattle ranch. It has the “backward” swastika built into it with contrasting colored bricks. It probably dates to the 1920’s. (Some big city leftist saw it a few years ago and his/him/her/she/its head exploded and caused an uproar.) The gate entrance with its left facing swastika is still there.
