Arizona Senate candidate Kari Lake called on the state’s GOP chair Jeff DeWit to resign after a recording emerged of him trying to bribe Lake to stay out of politics for two years.
n the recording, first reported by the Daily Mail, DeWit, 51, can be heard asking lake to name her price not to run.
“There are very powerful people who want to keep you out,” he can be heard telling her in a conversation recorded last March.
He then, after asking her not to mention the conversation to anyone, makes his first offer:
“So the ask I got today from back east was: “Is there any companies out there or something that could just put her on the payroll to keep her out?“
Lake is taken aback.
“This is about defeating Trump and I think that’s a bad, bad thing for our country,” she replied.
DeWit later framed it in a different way.
“Just say, is there a number at which –
“I can be bought?” Lake interjected. “That’s what it’s about?”
“You can take a pause for a couple of years. You can go right back to what you’re doing,” DeWit replied.
Lake repeatedly shuts him down, and says she wouldn’t pull out for a billion dollars.
“This is not about money, it’s about our country,” she says (one her own recording, we’re guessing).

The republican party is compromised by Chinese run corrupt, deep state individuals who want to eliminate the USA as we know it. This guy was just a puppet like the rest. I think this is why we’re seeing constitutionally appropriate rulings defeated, as the justices are being bribed and intimidated by the “Powers That Be.” This is what happens when a nation is in free fall. Sadly, the United States as we know it will be gone if the “masses” don’t rise up and say no more! God bless Kari Lake for saying no!
Why didn’t she say something about this sooner? This happened last March. Don’t get me wrong. Kari Lake is a fine Conservative, and I’m sure there is a reason, but it just seems odd it took this long, and a news outlet reporting they had found the recording, for her to say something about it.

If the Republicans did not want her then that’s their party. Kerri needs to run on third party ticket. She is not entitled to RNC support. I have been in some of those RNC meetings where people who have money want to run and told no. She calls it a bribe. He should have just told her he would not support her. The RNC picKS their candidates long before the primaries. She will end up running against the RNC & DNC. She is not the second coming of Trump, she hasn’t played her hand well.
Spin it all you want, the audio makes clear that she was being offered a BRIBE to not run.
She has her own funding... this isn’t about that. It’s about Party insiders being swamp creature RINO’s playing dirty pool.
No spin. Just the way the backroom politics work. The RNC did not want her and they asked her to go away. You call it a bribe. See if she gets any help from the RNC. See if the RNC doesn’t try to sink her going forward. She hasn’t the mental fortitude to be in politics. She might win this round, but until the RINO RNC is wiped out, she will not be given a seat at the table with the big boys - she is an outsider. She ain’t the second coming... of Trump or Christ.

Have you filed any lawsuits in your state regarding voting fraud and had lawfare inflicted on you as Kari is? She’s had the fortitude to stick it through a tainted election and keeping to her task despite opposition.
And yes... it was a BRIBE. By the very definition. Not blackmail, as there were no threats implied... but textbook bribery none the less.
Trump was also an outsider.

Whadda mean: “going forward”?
The RNC already DID try to sink her. And they succeeded. When she was fighting her case after the gubernatorial run, Ronna kicked Kari to the curb. Hobbs’ group had endless attorneys fighting for her. Ronna sent only one or two, and for a very short time.
Republicans try to play fair while the Democrats cheat. We need fighters to get us out of this hole.
