I read dozens of articles and headlines every day. There are few that tell us anything new. Even fewer that tell us anything that’s important. This is one of those that illuminates something that we know, but we don’t sufficiently articulate.
There’s no deterrence where there’s no credible threat of punishment.
“We don’t punish crimes enough. We could, and we should, but we don’t.“
It’s not we. The DOJ has become not a servant of the people, but government tool for a government of the government, by the government, and for the government. The is NO “We the people”. This became apparent to me when Obama used the IRS to attack the Tea party because of government overspending, and the DOJ never really prosecuted anyone. More so when computers and ‘black’ programs were used to secure the 2012 election. It has only accelerated, werein the people have no voice. In this new ‘utopia’ of fascist government and corporations, the people are silenced on the media, and during voting, by government apparatus. Laws exist now to be pursued vigorously by government against individuals whom don’t support government bankrupting and destroying the people voices, bill of rights, and privacy.
There is no ‘WE’. Crimes are politically lensed in every circumstance.
