Cats have always been known for their mysterious and independent nature. They can be a source of unconditional love and comfort for their humans, but they also possess a streak of cunning and aloofness. In a recent incident, a homeowner found himself locked out of his house, with the keys safely inside. Little did he know, his feline companions held the power to either let him in or leave him stranded outside.

I think I’m going to call the insurance company and tell them I’ve been on the spray since it first came out and that with neuropathy in my hands, the tiny bottles are difficult to open. I don’t know if it will work, but I’ll do it when I get back from picking up my groceries tomorrow.
I agree...bunch of dopes didn’t even check to see what drugs I’ve been using. Three, and they’re complaining about one.
Yesterday my F-I-L said, “I don’t wish on you that you get old.” I replied, ‘So you wish I die early?”
One of his more lucid thoughts?
Nully is away from the computer, but he said his Darling Daughter texted him and said she’s out of surgery.
No other news at the moment.
If she’s able to text, that’s good.
Ugh, what a shame.... seems that they should have a list/script to follow so that things like that don't get forgotten...
Good to hear it!
👍🏻
* She can text. The medium is the message. H/T Buckminster Fuller...
I hope she feels much better tomorrow. I haven’t had surgery except wisdom teeth extraction.
Yellacat!
Good morning. Did you have a good night?
Not much is planned for today, but already, I’m looking forward to bedtime.
Linda came over yesterday, saying she could “only stay a minute,” and it was almost two hours before she left. It was past the time that I would start to fix Chip’s food, so that was delayed longer than I wanted it to be.
I was tired, but I was also wired, so it was after 2100 before I was able to relax enough to sleep. Then, the usual happened — a pit stop at 0300 and after almost an hour of tossing and turning, I finally just got up. I’ll get dressed in a minute.
I’m looking forward to getting the groceries so I can come home and have a normal day sorting pills and trying to make another entry in my personal history. What fun.
I’ve started wearing the Fitbit again and it tells me when I’m having an episode of A-Fib. It would seem, during the course of the day, that I experience two or three or more an hour. No wonder I’m tired! I had no idea it was such a frequent occurrence, but I guess I’m only aware of the severe ones.
Not bad, thanks. Jake was out all night and rather annoyed when I let him in this morning. I think he’s gone to bed with a bro.
President Biden is coming to Charlotte today, so I’ll make sure to stay out here in the sticks. I hope traffic gets cleared up before we have to go to Scouts.
Who is President Biden? </sarc
I’m with you — I hope traffic clears out for your Scout time.
I can’t imagine the IK being out all night. I’m trying to get new blinds for the window so they can be raised and lowered so he can sit in the window sill.
It’s 50° now, with a high predicted of 81, but Sunday is going to be back in the 60s again. However, there are two more sunny days to look forward to! YAY!
Hopefully all is good.
It’s good to avoid surgery if you can. Even simple things can easily become complicated because of the care you need to take afterward.
I remember the hugh bruises in my abdomen after my hernia repair because I didn’t ice the area. They eventually went away, but I should have followed the destructions.
Good morning. Happy Friday Eve!
The Princess didn’t try to get on the bed last night, which means I didn’t have to put her out at 0-dark-thirty. So far no indications she leaked during the night.
My head feels a little cobweb-y. Mrs. ArGee said her jaw was keeping her from sleeping well so I guess that translated over to me. Hopefully I can think OK today. Although my cow-orkers don’t seem to notice either way so there’s that.
And today was a very average Wordle day.

I’m sure there’s a global warming explanation for your chilly weather.
Looks like storms on the weekend here. We may have to change our plan to go to the Catawba Riverkeeper fundraiser. We’ll see what things look like on Saturday morning.
Here’s hoping you don’t have to change your weekend plans. the trip to the fundraiser sounds fun. I’ll pray for good weather for you.
The pills are sorted, the bed has been made, I’ve made the grocery run and I’m ready to sit and take a mess off my feet.
The day is sunny and I can hardly wait to go stand in the sun for a minute or two, just to feel the heat warming my bones. I used to lay on a pool float in my friend’s pool for hours, back in the day. I’ve never gotten over how good the heat felt. When it got to be too much, I’d just roll over into the water, then back up on the float. Life is good!
