So Speaker Johnson is NOW 3rd inline to be POTUS, after listening to him on Hannity last night I think he was put there for a reason.
He came out of nowhere.
Trump’s got 2024 (unless the Left is allowed to steal the election, which I doubt even though I know these liars and thieves will try).
The issue is the 2028 ELECTION after Trump is gone.
If Johnson is a true Patriot, and freedom and Constitution lover, what would it take for him to be President in 2028 after Trump is gone? Trump’s VP now? Maybe. Whoever it is, President in 2028 MUST continue MAGA by restoring our Free Constitutional Republic!!!
Well, considering James Polk is the only Speaker of the House that ever became President, I don’t think it’s too likely.
One reason is probably that the position of speaker hold perhaps even more power than the President, and with a potentially unlimited term. So who would want to give it up?
My hope for Mike Johnson is that I am so impressed with him that I will want him to be a future US President.
First of all, is Johnson the real deal? Has he been tested? Dunno.
If he turns out to be the real deal, then I want Trump to pick him as his VP almost ensuring his election as President in 2028.
The left is freaking out because he’s an open Christian (read far right wing extremist).

The Left freaks out over everything. So what? The one thing the Left fears is people who can’t be intimidated by their tactics and stand up to them (like Trump for instance).
We should be doing a lot more to provoke the Left. just saying.
Right!?
Again, I’m glad to have the Left do my homework for me like this. LOL
What ever happened to humblegunner? Gone since 1/19/23.
Polk was elected President and did not ascend from the speaker’s chair directly to the executive role.
McCarthy is a weak and corrupt Swamp creature. Say what you will about Gaetz but he exposed McCarthy for the sleazy backstabber he is. I shudder to think about the damage McCarthy could have caused had he stayed in the Speakership. Good riddance to him.
“Yes, which they very likely would do quickly, since if they delay it would set a precedent that would be used against them if their party ever needed to replace a VP.”
*************
The Republicans would act promptly, but that would by no means be reciprocated by today’s Democrats. They are a vicious, vindictive lot who have no respect for history, comity or process. Precedents don’t matter to Dems. The only thing that does is getting their way.
Frowned upon by the owner of this website Jim Robinson. Are you new here? I’ve known this rule since I joined this site in 2003 and I think I may have only posted 1 or 2 vanities in all that time out of respect for the rules.
Yes, and I was responding to someone asking about the prospects of Johnson being elected after Trump’s second term.
Hopefully they would use that to good use.
Considering how difficult it was to get anyone remotely MAGA in the Speaker’s chair, I think it’s best to leave him where he is. Anyone Trump picks is guaranteed to become VP if Trump wins, so there is no difficulty filling that position at all.
I appreciate what you’re saying but its better that he stay in place as Speaker to advance Trump’s agenda. Johnson appears far to intelligent and capable to waste away his talents in the largely ceremonial VP slot. JMHO
There should already be a candidate ready to primary his ass right out of congress!
The difficulty is continuing the MAGA effort 2028 and beyond after Trump is gone.
That is why Trump’s VP MUST be someone committed to restoring America’s Free Constitutional Republic by DISMANTLING the $3+ trillion unconstitutional portion of the federal government, our greatest enemy, which is now totalitarian.
No offense was intended, FRiend.
The bigger government gets, the smaller the people become.
Its time to starve the beast before its weight crushes us all. Seriously.
If that was to happen, he’d be the 3rd President Johnson.
