The ruling elite, especially in Europe, but also everywhere, does not like the peasants using deadly force to defend their own lives.
Deadly force for self defense should only be used by police & military under the direction of elected officials who know better and who know what is in societies best interest.
Oh course Biden feels that Israel should not defend its citizens nor allow its citizens to defend themselves. It was a miracle that Biden and the Deep State supported Ukraine after its invasion by Russia. Something, I still can’t comprehend, except that the ruling class hates Russia.
Ukraine has been a giant slush fund/money-laundering operation for the Democrats (and, yes, some RINOs) for years.
It is not so much that the ruling class hates Russia, it's more that Russia has internal, rather than external, corruption
and therefore unexploitable for profit.
