Liberals are mentally ill and violent. Conservatives beat their chests from behind a computer screen but do nothing. That "something big" isn't something conservatives want.
The “something big” would be the Feds’ “discovery” of some terrorist conspiracy before the election. People will be conditioned to expect the big story by a steady drip of stories about death threats against Biden or other Democrats.
