As the saying goes, present your enemy with a dilemma. In this case there is only a bad and worse case senerio
Thank you for a reply which nicely evaded the question.
The last exchange was:
--- [ The question ] " “whose strategy? And to what purpose?”The question remains.--- [ Your reply ] -- "America's strategy, for the purpose of advancing America's interests.
[ My reply ] American interests are defined in the moment by the current administration. Joseph Biden, Kamala Harris, Lloyd Austin, Anthony Blinken, Victoria Nuland, Janet Yellen, Jennifer Granholm and so on. You apparently agree with their leadership in America's strategy. ]
Who defines America's strategy. If not the government and current administration, then some other entity. Which is it?
Answers I would reject. You alone. Me alone. Merely a few of us. A secret cabal which we cannot discover.
Who defines America's strategy?
“[My reply ] American interests are defined in the moment by the current administration“
That is simply untrue. Inherent interests don’t change when Administrations do.
How many legs does a dog have, if the Administration considers a tail to be a leg? The answer is four. Calling a tail a leg, does not make it a leg.
Yes, the Administration determines strategy to a significant degree (far from completely, with the separation of powers in the USA), but the resourcing of that strategy requires the Republican Legislature, and it must comply with the laws and binding treaties that exist, as well as being informally bound by public opinion.
But you attempt to discredit support for the defense of Ukraine, because it is supported by this particular Administration, which is a logical error.
Is anything and everything wrong, because the Biden Administration does it? Paying Military salaries and flying the American flag is Biden Administration policy. Is that now inherently wrong, simply because it is them doing it? No.
Your other logically incorrect rhetorical device, is to conflate support of one thing that this Administration does with anything and everything that it does.
You attempt to discredit the policy of support for Ukraine, by ad hominem attack on an Administration that participates in it, when in fact the Administrations of most nations on Earth do.
American interests, and appropriate American strategy can be assessed independently of the Administration in power. Support for the defense of Ukraine, and the defeat and deterrence of Russian aggression is in American interest, and is good American Strategy - despite the Biden Administration conducting it, not because of it.
You again did not answer the question.
Who defines America's strategy. If not the government and current administration, then some other entity. Which is it?
“You again did not answer the question. Who defines America’s strategy.”
From above:
“Yes, the Administration determines strategy to a significant degree (far from completely, with the separation of powers in the USA), but the resourcing of that strategy requires the Republican Legislature, and it must comply with the laws and binding treaties that exist, as well as being informally bound by public opinion.”
Off topic:

The sea islands along the Carolina coast
The Mojave, and especially Death Valley when the sky is painted after a storm
The Chilean coastline and Oregon coastline, especially away from cities
Thomaskirche Leipzig to sit by J. S. Bach's grave in the chancel

Scooby-Do?
And now, they may have to redeploy them back to the Kherson region.
—
Can’t redeploy the dead. Most of them were Clustered in the Urozhaine direction - they fled on foot leaving all vehicles behind.
Russian commanders in the Kherson direction have had all there maps, passwords, positions revealed courtesy of Russian Major Tom.
Immediate calls for reinforcement by UA troops over Russian phones went unanswered, but eventually a convoy was sent only to be Clustered and HIMARSed
Scooby-Do or a Blue Unicorn?
Dang.
I guess I didn’t get the bonus points.
Definitely saw that. 102.38 for the high or low :). Getting below 100 at 8:30pm...
