It seems to me an even greater threat faces Russia than NATO in Ukraine. That is irreplaceable birth rates.
Seems like Putin could have just banned the manufacture, sale and use of contraceptives. A hell of a lot less people would die and the savings of wealth would be astronomical.
In a century Russia would be the strongest nation in Eurasia, bursting with young Slavic men/women ready to colonize and spread their culture and people.
Instead we have death.

To be fair, it was hard for anyone else to figure out the promised Russian Winter Offensive was on. When the main attack looked like just another Tuesday, it was hard to tell the difference.
The Ukrainian Army has not defeated the Russians in a set piece battle since the start of Russia’s Special Military Operation. Urkaine, with the full help of NATO, was unable to mount an offensive to rescue its trapped forces in Mariupol. A similar catastrophe for Ukraine is unfolding right now in Donetsk along the defense line that stretches from Bakhmut to Seversk in the north.

They ignore Russia’s unequaled natural resources (which gives it self-suffiency not enjoyed by any of the other major powers); its robust, technologically sophisticated industrial base (Russia produces viable space rockets, the United States does not); and its deeply rooted sense of national identity. They also do not grasp the devastating tactics the Russians are methodically executing on the battlefield — the Ukrainian Army and equipment are being mauled and the West has emptied its military stores and is in no condition to provide replacements any time soon.
Until you realize Victoria Nuland and the Biden regime are biggest obstacle to ending the war, your prayers will not be heard by God.

Update on Russian military operations in Ukraine for February 13, 2023 + US sanctions deliberately compounding Syrian earthquake relief efforts:
- US rep admits US sanctions and occupation of eastern Syria are to prevent reconstruction for use as leverage following Washington’s failed proxy war;
- Russian missiles & drones targeted Ukraine’s power grid inflicting heavy damage nationwide;
- The missile/drone strikes included an unmanned naval drone targeting a bridge in Odessa;
- Western governments and analysts admit that it will take years to send Ukraine NATO jets;
- Any appearance beforehand means NATO pilots are posing as Ukrainian pilots;
- CNN claims captured “Wagner” fighters say Russia is suffering heavy losses, CNN suggests 80% of the 50,000 Wagner recruited have died, been injured, or are captured;
