Why is it that when women or minorities are unable to meet standards that white men have met for generations, liberals insist on lowering the standards? Why not encourage minorities and women to work harder to prepare themselves and up their game whether it’s a mental or physical challenge? Is it that they don’t believe that ANY level of prep will be sufficient? Isn’t that racist/sexist.

Because working or studying harder goes only so far - it doesn’t change genetics.
They want parity in representation for whatever group they’re pimping for. However, dimply reducing standards will not achieve that. They’ll have to ELIMINATE standards and just decree that any profession or membership will be strictly based on proportional representation.
This, of course, is insanity, but when have leftists ever let their insanity stand in the way of destroying a society?
