I'm a big fan of the British Parliament.I frequently watch youtube videos of debates and speeches. I find particular joy in watching speeches made by an MP named Jacob Rees Mogg. Listening to him displays the advantages of an Oxford (or Cambridge) education. And IIRC at least one or two members of Monty Python are graduates of “Oxbridge”.

China emits more CO2 than US + Europe combined and is increasing by more than we are decreasing. The Paris Agreement that requires us to go to net zero and allows the developing countries of the world to increase is a joke. A complete, 100 percent joke.

So, what is climate change all about? It’s about taking away cars and light trucks, gas stoves, cheap light bulbs, hamburgers, single family detached homes, fly-away vacations, cruise chips, guns, plastic straws, etc., etc., from the masses, because the elites of the world hate you.

They especially hate that inter-city truck drivers, plumbers, UPS delivery men, butchers and produce managers and others who work with their hands make more than college graduates with useless degrees and student loans.

They also hate that ordinary people can marry, enjoy sex without fear of disease, and make children of their very own DNA and upbringing.

I watched this video several times the other day and just watched it all over again.

This is one of the best explanations of why "climate change" is a nothing burger and a tool for controlling the young and stupid.

BTW, I have some family members who are devout climate change believers. Their argument is always, "Don't you care about the planet and animals and poor people?" They don't bother to read the fine print of their movement...they just (like a lot of Freepers--me too, sometimes) read the headlines. And even when reading the headlines, they only read those that confirm their deeply held biases.

He gets the “woke” crowd to listen by first calling them “woke” but also by conceding their points for a moment, then proceeds to explore the bigger picture explaining how absurd it all is (e.g. climate change).
