NBC's Todd Claims He's a 'Journalist' & 'Deals in Facts', Ron Johnson Schools Him

On Sunday's Meet the Press on NBC, host Chuck Todd made the laughable claim that he’s a journalist who “deals in facts” during a heated back and forth with Wisconsin Republican Senator Ron Johnson on the congressional investigation into President Joe Biden’s drug addict criminal son Hunter Biden. Anyone familiar with Todd’s journalistic track record will realize how absurd his comment was.

“I take it at your word that you’re ethically bothered by Hunter Biden,” Todd said to Johnson to which he shot back “are you not?”

“I’m a journalist. I have to deal in facts. Senator my question to you is, I have skepticism of both parties. I sit here with skepticism of a lot of people's work,” Todd said with a straight face.

Was it “deal[ing] in facts” when Todd claimed that bringing in more migrants will solve our nation’s inflation problem?

I still wish Ron would have run for gov instead. He would have won. Trump’s pick cost us another 4 yrs of having a blue gov despite a very red legislative branch. Ironically, preventing election reforms that would have helped Trump in 24.

Trump mocks Chuck Todd’s appearance, Russia reporting in Saturday morning tweet

On NBC’s “Nightly News” on Friday, Todd discussed the Russia investigation and said Trump’s unsubstantiated claim that President Barack Obama wiretapped Trump Tower created “all of the current problems for this West Wing.”

“I think the biggest problem here is you have the president not wanting to accept the conclusion that Russia tried to interfere in the election and that there is going to be an investigation in this, whether he likes it or not,” Todd said. “The source of all of the current problems for this West Wing right now, for this presidency right now, all stems from that tweet where the president accused President Obama of wiretapping him.”

Sen Johnson is one of 2 or 3 in the Senate that is worth a damn, but an interview like this is where Pres Trump was able to to earn some of his keep

Jul 8, 2022 · "Meet the Press" – the longest-running program on American television – had its worst ratings since Chuck Todd became the host in 2014, according to a new report.

Meet depressed is now down to less than 2.4 million viewers, when it once drew over 30 million {before cable}.

I realize that prior to cable, and with basically only 3 choices, that the Sunday talk shows were big time draws, but Chuck Todd is really a ratings loser.

I cannot watch any Sunday political talk show {with the rare Maria viewing} so I haven't seen anything of Todd {other than a rare utube clip}, but he has always been a pompous asshole.
