Thanks for the post. I recently watched a BBC WWII historical drama titled “SAS: Rogue Heroes.” It’s been renewed for a second season. It’s based on the book by Ben Macintyre, who had unlimited access to the unit’s archives. It’s covers the organization of the unit that began in Egypt. I was so intrigued by the series that I ordered the book, and have just started reading it. I downloaded the series from the internet using a VPN, but it’s also airing on Epix in the U.S. if anyone is interested. It’s an excellent series.
I’ll definitely have to check that out! SAS are some of history’s biggest bad asses.
