GOP House leader Kevin McCarthy worked to crush the MAGA movement in Congress but now he wants their votes for speakership.
Only a week ago we uncovered that McCarthy was using funds from FTX to take out GOP Representative Madison Cawthorn who was a fan of President Trump and the MAGA movement.
But Cawthorn wasn’t the only MAGA candidate that McCarthy went after. He also went after many more.
Joe Kent, Carl Paladino, Christian Collins, Karoline Leavitt, Laura Loomer, Greg Giglio, and JR Majewski, were all targeted by Kevin McCarthy.
Attorney Anthony Sabatini in Florida was one of them. Sabatini was a MAGA candidate that McCarthy worked against in the primary. The Florida House member lost in part due to McCarthy’s money used against him.

McConnell’s sabotage of his own side in the Senate races won’t come as a surprise to most Republicans, but many are unaware that House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy used similar tactics in several House races during the same period. McCarthy’s behavior is even worse than McConnell’s in light of the extremely underwhelming House election results. Although observers expected a “red wave” that would yield a strong Republican majority in the House, Republicans are likely to have just a five-vote advantage in the end.
According to The Washington Post, the political machine around McCarthy directed millions to be spent against Republican candidates in GOP primaries associated with the America First movement. Yes, you read that correctly. McCarthy surrogates, including Amazon lobbyist Jeff Miller, directed four political action committees to attack key candidates to McCarthy’s right in primary elections around the country.

I wish there was a chance to stop him but look at the Senate, everybody hates Mitch but he won and it wasn’t even close. The POS didn’t even try to hide his efforts to help the rats and he’s back as the Minority leader. Meanwhile McCarthy is saying the right things to give cover to those who will make him speaker. We have to live on crumbs it would seem.
I don’t know much about Cawthorn.
However there is a lot of negative comments all over about him being involved in some sort of sexual stuff?
Is it that the Left is spreading such to discredit him, or something?

It seems that President Trump disagrees with this view.

There are only two people who can be elected Speaker other than McCarthy. They are:
1) Nancy Pelosi
2) Hakeem Jeffries
Among the three possible Speakers, which one do you prefer?
Not a penny for the GOP! From now on, only selected candidates that support MAGA. Period.
If you support 3-time loser Trump, then you must support McCarthy. Trump endorsed McCarthy for Speaker.
McCarthy is, like McConnell in the Senate, a political money manager.
Billionaires back him to make House members fall in line with their wishes.
McCarthy can fund a political opponent with attack ads full of lies against any member that dares step out of line.
The Republicans in the senate voted overwhelmingly (37-10) to retain Mitch McConnell as their leader. I hope the Republicans in the house don’t make the same mistake with Kevin McCarthy.
This is nothing more than RINO “smoke”. All “sounding good” before his election ... but afterward, we have another RION like McConnel. I’m asking my reps not to vote for hime.
Nothing to do with voting one’s conscience.
Those votes were bought votes or surrendered votes.
A member of the House or Senate has one of two states of existence.
1. Their constituents back them passionately and produce grassroots funds that put them over the top, or
2. Their constituents are dispassionate and will vote for whoever runs as a Republican and seems conservative.
In the second case, attack ads full of lies can be launched if the member doesn’t fall in line. Vast majority of times, such a member will negotiate survival.
McCarthy is the money manager in the House.
McConnell is the money manager in the Senate.
