Judge Aileen Cannon on Thursday ruled in favor of Trump and rejected Special Master Raymond Dearie’s request to have Trump’s legal team “verify that the government’s inventory log of seized items is accurate.” ABC News reported.

President Trump doesn’t trust the doj not to plant evidence.
Evidently Judge Cannon doesn’t trust either
But wouldn’t Trump’s legal team verifying the inventory be a chance to call them out for just that?
The DOJ is going to have earn trust on this one.
Face it. Raymond Dearie is the best of a coprophagic lot. Stacked deck much?
The DoJustUs approved him. Not a good sign.
Plus he was a judge on the secret FISA Court.
Love that Judge!
Agree. It’s the other side that should produce all that they seized for return to the Trump team.
It burdens Trump with reviewing 11,000 documents and saying what isn’t there, under a major time constraint, without the government’s unlimited resources. Trump would not be allowed to take issue with items discovered after the clock runs out. I don’t accuse Dearie of setting that up on purpose...but Cannon sees how this would play out.
He appears to work under Judge Cannon. That’s good for now. I’d get her a security detail.
I think that after a couple of rulings like this the “Special Master” will get the idea to do his job properly
There’s no earning my trust “on this one” or the next one for that matter. Everyone at the DOJ needs to be fired, as in unemployed. Carefully selected replacements can then earn my trust, but that may not happen before I die, even if they were hired tomorrow.
If they said something was there that was missing who would get accused of taking it?
Why was this taken off of front page and entirely out of news altogether?
It just was reported. Abc article is from 545pm.
Bump.
The DOJ told the Court that they seized 11,000 documents.
Trump's lawyers allege the 11,000 documents actually tally up to 200,000 *pages* which is why so many vendors have “declined the potential engagement.”
“The problem is compounded by the fact that when Plaintiff's counsel referred to either 11,000 pages or even 11,000 documents during the status conference (we are still awaiting the transcript), the Government chose not to interject with an accurate number. In conversations between Plaintiff's counsel and the Government regarding a data vendor, the Government mentioned that the 11,000 documents contain closer to 200,000 pages,” the lawyers said."
Anyone who would trust any government agency to do the “right thing” is not just ignorant but purely stupid. Ever since the founding of these United States Of America the scumbags of the world have been scamming and skimming the American people and doing all they can to keep us fat, lazy and happy so no one notices we are being financially raped. We, as a country, are too stupid to look behind the curtain they hide behind because we are trained from youth to “just trust government”. Do we have a republic? Only if we can keep it. Are there people who will screw us if they can? Of course. Can we STOP them? Only if the American people get tired of being financially raped and are willing to get their hands dirty to stop it. Otherwise the “beatings will continue”. Stockholm syndrome seems to be the prevalent philosophy of the general population. Just my 2.
Dearie was a FISA judge, and people thought he’d be mad at the DOJ for lying to him.
Turns out he’s just another corrupt deep state denizen.
