It’s not racist, but big highways like this in the middle of cities do create a “the other side of the tracks” situation and divide areas
I’d rather they focus on why improving things like this are better for cities in other ways not the racism part
They’ve been reducing lanes and changing major roads like this where I live and it’s so much better
So do railroad tracks.
