In fairness the field offices for the FBI are doing some great work fighting fentanyl and human trafficking.
Reforming the FBI so that the headquarters becomes a support system for the various field offices would be a possible solution. Send the authority down the food chain where it belongs and let the bureaucrats in DC worry about things like buying paper clips and stuff like that. Because they’ve made it clear that they can’t be trusted with any other decisions.

At this point I see Hannity as the “trusty” prisoner in Buchenwald; the guy who greasily sucks up to the prison authorities to protect his own sorry butt, while sending his fellow inmates to the gas chambers. George Soros comes to mind.
