A lot of people probably don't want to celebrate our nation right now, and we can't blame them. When there is so much division, hate and unrest, why on earth would you want to have a party celebrating any of it?
But in all seriousness, you know in your heart, Fourth of July fireworks are amazing, especially when you are standing in 90° heat, 100% humidity, next to 100,000 of your closest friends. In that moment, something takes over and we all become united in an inexplicable bond. Yes, America is in strife right now, but you know what.…we already bought the fireworks.
We all will hold hands after and sing “Kum by heah?”
The lefties will be shaking and asking for a cigarette as if they were post coital.

A Brit friend of my uncle showed me this by comparing a couple of US papers to some British papers.
The Daily Mail UK is not a conservative paper or a fan of Trump but it gave far better coverage, especially nice pictures, for Trump events than any US papers did during his time in office.
Had someone insulted Queer Month would an apology be enough?

Disney is the huge employer there. The Governor removed Disney’s tax break hence the employees are in danger of losing their jobs or at least bonuses and any raises in the near future.
