Actually, he doesn’t need a lawyer. Navarro is a very smart guy. If he hired an attorney, that attorney. Would bleed him dry just like General Flynn’s lawyer did.

Flynn’s lawyers were actually working for the government. They could have had the charge against him dropped within a month if they acted in his interest.

When a judge really tries to get you to hire an attorney, they aren’t doing it for your benefit, especially if you are a smart guy. No doubt in my mind that Navarro has already studied the laws and the case law, and is well-equipped to demand discovery. That being the case, a trial isn’t going to go to trial until we’ll after the November elections.

Even is he does appear before the January 6 committee, he can refuse to answer all questions. He can all demand to record the questioning and record the questioning.
