The count is close enough it is mandated by law
HTH do they count HUNDREDS of THOUSANDS on ELECTION DAY, but can’t count a few thousand in OVER a WEEK???
Oz is likely to pick up votes, given he is the women’s candidate and women are the vast majority responsible for the recount...
The best that could happen would be an exact draw. Total chaos.
Then maybe the legislature could vote for a real conservative who is actually a real Pennsylvanian.
A recount is AUTOMATIC if the candidates are closer than .05%
Because, "David McCormick filed a lawsuit to demand election officials count undated ballots that came in after the Tuesday election."
Election laws were violated in PA during COVID. NEVER AGAIN, DAVID!
Do not bother re-counting fake/illegal ballots.
Canvas the mail in ballots, canvas absentee ballots.
Investigate the machines
Because he likely has a better chance of winning in the general
Here we are two years later and little has been done to fix the problems.
'Republicans in a landslide!' /sarcasm
Yes, he and I lived in the same town for a few years (Cliffside Park, NJ) and he was still there as of last year.
I’ve heard that Marc Elias is back of this, working for McCormick. I didn’t vote for Oz, but McCormick’s willingness to break election law to win the seat is disgusting. The Republican Party of Pennsylvania is demanding that he follow election law—undated ballots cannot be accepted. They’ve turned against him.
Well, I guess it stands to reason. I and others were called “communists” for claiming a President’s term expires on January 20th and claiming that constitutional amendments are part of the constitution. I have also been declared “insane” for suggesting that popular vote of the President within states for their Electoral votes was created by acts of the state legislatures and not mandated within the Constitution itself. I guess this is along the same lines.
But it is particularly annoying when it comes to people making legal assertions when they don't have the knowledge - formal or otherwise - to have an informed opinion in the first place.
That kind of behavior used to be mostly the domain of the Left. Now it is rampant on our side as well.
To me, the core problem with a lot of the more zealous advocates is their refusal to recognize that they are not a majority, and therefore must be able to persuade people to their side. But they seem uninterested in that.
Instead, they seem more interested in preaching to the converted, and throwing bad arguments in with good simply because it is fun. They'd rather have a good time than win.
