When power (or, if you please, power endorsement) passes from Biden to some other figure (or figurehead), we’ll all get the green light to expose Biden.
It may have to wait for a clean articulate storybook character to enter the Democrat primaries. Which would be tough because the party is now like an Africanized bee colony, and an electable moderate would have little chance of surviving.
A Republican majority Congress isn’t going to throw stones at Biden corruption; they don’t have any. A Republican administration in 2025 might sufficiently embitter the media to turn on Biden. Somehow we have to survive that long. :(
In other words, it’ll be when hell freezes over.
Sorry Vazquez, but the New York Times is not the good guy in this story. They sat on the story for a year and a half, then finally acknowledged the truth with a story on page 18 (or something). The "fact checkers" only take their lead from the New York Times.
Sad to say, but in "journalism", it ain't a scandal until the New York Times says it's a scandal.

Like the 3rd party outfit that Fauci used to fund gain of function in Wuhan, FC’s are used to publish opinions that the platform/MSM push. This was the defense in court against Stoller’s defamation suit — and they won. The court ruled that expressing opinion is allowed (even if insulting) and there is no law that says FC’s must be truthful.
