They installed the empty-suit POTUS of their choice once. It’s foolhardy to presume they won’t be able to do it again. If Trump wants the pubbie nomination he is going to need to show, frankly, that he has twice or three times the fight, piss and vinegar in him than he had in the runup to the 2016 election in order to prevail in 2024. That’s a lot to ask of any man, much less a man his age. You can talk about the issues all you want, but Trymp needs to project mental and physical strength and find some way to channel any leftover anger or resentment he has into productive angles of attack.
