Mark Steyn was the only guest host I used to look forward to listening to, sometimes even wishing Rush would take more frequent golf trips. A real powerhouse of intellect, grasp of history and wit/humor.

I take issue with anything that Oliver Stone is involved with. There are not many people I completely boycott but he is one of them. I realized a long time ago he hates his country as it is constituted today and I refuse to watch anything he does. He’d happily put every single member of this website into reeducation camps and not lose any sleep over it. I find it amusing that people on this website who portrayed Putin as the white hat sweeping the new world order out of the Eastern Europe also cite a neo-communist to buttress their claims. War makes strange bedfellows I guess.
I’d consider the info from another source, just not Stone. Wouldn’t matter though because Putin’s war has no justification.

Why? Do you want to live forever? A man of a certain age, over 60 say, with all obligations fulfilled, really only has the choice of how to die. Reporting from a war seems like an interesting thing to do and an interesting way to go. Much better IMHO than most of the deaths I have seen, miserable and prolonged.
It appears that Donald Trump “went to the dark side” as well: “The Russian attack on Ukraine is appalling. It’s an outrage and an atrocity that should never have been allowed to occur. … We are praying for the proud people of Ukraine.”
Yeah, saw that. After his “Putin was smart” comment.
Not sure what to make of it...yet.
