Let’s do nothing but revisit the 2008 election, get into the weeds about what is a legitimate birth certificate, what is a “natural born citizen,” etc. The economy is a mess, World War III is possible, we have the most inept president ever - we have a lot of winning issues so let us please talk about nothing but 2008 and Obama birther speculations. That’s the winning strategy!
Once the demented one goes south, we will be expected to place an overtly not ‘natural born citizen’ into the Oval Office. This absolutely should not be permitted.
This issue ought never be tucked away as it is is irrelevant. The Founders were prescient in their insisting upon the qualification.
The Constitution when written clearly states that there were 2 categories of Citizens. This was before any ‘Naturalization’ took place, which by any rational conclusion indicates that there are 3 categories of Citizens.
Not every Citizen is a ‘natural born citizen.’
