I thought that the police were suppose to de-escalate confrontations.
If that is what is in for protesters they might as well stay and fight even harder and winning is now their only option for avoiding jail.

Police have spare uniforms; an inventory to draw upon for damaged apparel and for new officers. Military could be wearing those untagged police uniforms to hide their presence.

Even evil is brewing in the State of Texas. Abbott and Cruz have both been in office too long. They triangulate positions instead of doing what is right. Cruz especially, is a liar and a traitor. He is 100% behind the imprisonment of what he calls terrorist in DC hell-jail. As a lawyer, he should be all over this political BS like Sidney Powell on General Flynns legal case.
