A biological female member of the University of Pennsylvania women’s swimming team said she believes her transgender teammate Lia Thomas colluded with a Yale transgender athlete so she could lose to prove a point, according to a report.
Yalie Iszac Henig, who is transitioning from female to male, beat Thomas in both the women’s 100- and 400-yard freestyle races during an Ivy League swim meet on Jan. 8.
Henig was reportedly able to compete on the women’s team because she had yet to start testosterone treatment.
Thomas, who has been shattering women’s team records, has become a lightning rod as her story has gained national attention in recent months. She previously competed as a man for three seasons at UPenn.
Her biological female teammate told OutKick on condition of anonymity that she believes Thomas and Henig hatched a plan during the recent meet.
“Looking at [Lia’s] time, I don’t think she was trying,” she told the outlet. “I know they’re friends and I know they were talking before the meet. I think she let her win to prove the point that, ‘Oh see, a female-to-male beat me.’”
When asked if she believed the pair colluded, the swimmer said: “I do. I can’t say for sure, but I wouldn’t be shocked if I found out that was 100 percent true.”
Henig won the 100 freestyle race with a time of 49.57 seconds. Thomas touched the wall in 52.84 seconds – though she swam the 100 freestyle in 49.42 seconds during a November tri-meet with Princeton and Cornell, OutKick reported.
The anonymous swimmer also believes Thomas wasn’t giving her all in the 200-yard freestyle, which she won with a time of 1:48.73.

If they were colluding, I’d be bummed - Lia is a HERO to me, by simply FORCING the country to deal with crap instead of hiding in fear from the Left. We need her/him to KEEP WINNING.

49.42 to 52.84 is falling off the end of the world. Losing more than three seconds in a short period of time doesn’t add up at all. This looks like Bobby Riggs levels of tanking.

The reason I point this out is to set a base line of what a failure Thomas is as a swimmer. So he takes hormones to dominate rather average women's swimmers in the Ivy League. I'm not taking away from women swimming in Ivy League programs. Those girls go to swim and have fun knowing that they will never be top tier athletes. There is nothing wrong with that. There are a lot of life lessons to be learned when competing at that level.
Thomas has chosen to compensate for his extreme lack of talent by competing against women who lack talent. In all his selfishness he hurts the women he so wants to be. They don't want him. He will never been a woman. He will never be even a decent swimmer, even against women. He will never be a good person. This guy is really messed up in the head and belongs in a mental institution. The same goes to all those that think changing one's gender can be done with surgery and hormones. There should be zero tolerance for these pieces of shit. That begins with ridiculing and abusing this entire movement.
The media is complicit in all this. I have yet to see one article that points out what a failure Thomas is. All it has been about smashing records that mean zero, nada, nothing. Then a mention of how it hurts women's sports. That's the disconnect. Nothing good (smashing Ivy records) should be highlighted as it partly motivates other mentally deranged to do the same as if it was some great achievement. In all honesty, being a great athlete is not a great achievement. There are so many more things more important in life. Sports have a place in life, but it they shouldn't be life.
This is all getting very confusing...
