Good grief. This was a big nothing-burger.
My son came home and told what happened. Was playing basketball and one of his friends was goofing around and was kicking the ball. My son got annoyed and shoved him against a fence with his shoulder. I had him show me how he did it. Didn’t even use his hands. The principal saw this and thought it was a “fight”. My son and his friend made up on the bus ride back home. No big deal.
Good. What a bunch of nonsense. Wasn’t even much of anything. Sounds like the admin made a deal if it even if the kids didn’t.
I guess teachers have to report everything today to parents or the school gets sued.

My son took a baseball bat on the school bus because a bully was picking on several kids. Told the bully if he continued he’d put him up against the wall. Kids parents reported my son and we got a Front Door visit from the Guidance Counselor.
Told us he was required to visit us but off the record was glad somebody put the bully in his place. There were no more problems on the school bus.
