I went to high school (HS of Music and Art) in NYC with Leon Botstein, the brilliant founder of Bard as it is now. It was a mediocre girls’ “leotard school” (wealthy kids who majored in modern dance) up the Hudson when Leon took it over. And he really is brilliant, I’m not being sarcastic.
He totally transformed it, basically by demanding academic rigor and doing a lot of things that would now be considered “classical curriculum.” I’m not sure they still do this, and it’s been very leftwing for a long time.
Leon Botstein was pretty leftwing but in the okay average “NYC child of intellectual immigrant parents fleeing Germany” leftist way. Everybody I knew was. But he was genuinely committed to knowledge - and also to music. He was a violinist and then went on, while at Bard, to form an orchestra.
But I guess Soros bought him. I honestly can’t think that Leon Botstein, the independent thinker I knew, has gone in with the Soros world domination project. Truly sad.

Soros is no different than Zuckerberg, and a host of other remarkably similar dirtbags. Of course, we aren’t supposed to notice that pattern, just like we aren’t supposed to notice black on white crime.

I can’t wish for even as evil a person as Soros to burn in hell for eternity, but I think that is where he is headed.

I don’t believe that Soros is the original Soros. I believe he is a Nazi that stole the identity of a murdered jew at the end of World War two. the reason he did this was guilty of war crimes that would of had him executed but the claim that he was a Jewish victim. at the time he claimed Soros’ identity he was 17 years and the Soros family that were still alive had not seen the kid in years.... a gene sample needs to be taken and it needs to be tested to see if it matches up with the surviving family members. IE his cousins. he is the child of the Nazi he claimed saved his life and forced him to help confiscate and squeeze resources from jews.
