Discovery is gonna clean house after the deal closes, just watch and see. Not political - they’ve got to pay for it and CNN is a big steaming otful of “synergies” writing to be had. Return to a true news format, hire newsreaders for a small fraction of what they’re paying this so-called “talent” and change the culture overnight. This integration is a no-brainer. And none of the above jeopardizes the billion $ plus in carriage fees they get before selling ad #1.
I still remember Don Farmer and Chris Curl at the beginning of CNN. They were excellent.
