John Marshall High School, the RKO Palace Theatre and the Paramount, Ontario Beach, Ice cream cones at Abbott’s Frozen Custard, (Carvel’s, Carrol’s Hamburgers 22 cents), Sea Breeze (The Jack Rabbit roller coaster), Don & Bob’s, Schaller’s, submarine races at Durand Eastman, riding the escalator at Sibley’s. Bus transfers for 2 cents. Shopping plazas, Northgate, Eastway, Westgate, and South Town. Hockey games and ice skating and rock concerts at The War Memorial. French’s Mustard #1 Mustard Street. Drag racing down Main Street. Drive In Movies (Lakeshore, Central, Rochester, Starlite). F.W. Woolworth Co. 5 and 10c Store. (and the lunch counter!)
