So anyway, I’ve been getting my eggs from local farms and I must say, they are really, really good.

Why do chicken coops have 2 doors?

If they had four, they would be chicken sedans!

We switch back and forth between duck and chicken eggs. They are both really good. Duck eggs make the best mayo.

My sis has a 50 ac farm a bit N of you out by UCONN.
Grows her own everything,4 legs, 2legs or roots. All hi qual
Garlic the size of baseballs, broccoli and cauliflower bowling ball size

Her eggs are all colors, light brown, pale green, white you name it. Yokes are a yellow never seen in a store bought egg.

If your paying for these items at a local farm its well worth the money

My chickens gorge themselves on the little black flies swarming the piles of horse manure.

Had a neighbor in 2010 with two pet hens that laid eggs everyday. He didn’t eat eggs so I would set empty egg crate on the fence every sunday and he would set put it back full every Saturday. Didn’t buy eggs again until I moved in 2015.

There is nothing like fresh chicken eggs. We have 15 hens and a rooster that have a half acre to run around and do chickeny things. In the winter when they slow down we have to supplement with store eggs sometimes. They are almost tasteless to me.
